Had this 6 years and I have no complaints
Has this ratchet screwdriver for 6 years now. It's a brilliant tool. Nice smooth ratchet mechanism with simple twist to switch from clockwise to anticlockwise ratchet. Very sturdy. Nice feel in my hand. My only criticism is the heads that come with it are a bit soft. But I replaced them through wear and tear long ago.

Excellent screwdiver
Absolutely superb ratchet screwdriver. You can’t usually go wrong with Bahco because they only make excellent quality, strong , reliable tools and this screwdriver is no exception. The slide out bit holder is ingenious and holds both flat head, phillips and posidrive bits of two sizes in each. You simply press BOTH sides impressed switches and the cartridge pops up out of the top of the handle. I have put the lightest amount of petroleum jelly on the cartridge slides to assist the cartridge to spring open but you don’t need to. I am really pleased with my purchase and I highly recommend both the product and the seller.

Same or Better Performance at Half the Price of Other Screwdrivers. (Bought for £20)
Did a fair bit of research into what screwdrivers are best. I took a punt on this and am so glad I did. Other screwdrivers with comparable performance were twice the price. The only downside is the bit storage in the handle is a bit stiff. It doesn't come out smoothly. But again, this is a £20 ratcheting screwdriver that is actually worth buying. They've got to cut down costs, and the handle and bit storage is the best place to do this. A little shaft wobble, but not much at all, seemed comparable to much more expensive screwdrivers. Strong magnet, easy ratcheting, not heavy and a slim profile allowing you to get into hard to reach areas. This is all you really need to know about a screwdriver. Well, that and durability. Other screwdrivers around this price range had poor reviews related to their ratcheting, apparently it would just stop working. Haven't seen such criticisms for this one. Honestly, at this price I can't imagine you getting anything better. They didn't cheap out on the magnet, the shaft seems quality. It is definitely not a premium screwdriver, if you want a fancy handle, better bit storage or better build quality where the shaft meets the handle, be prepared to pay between £50 and over £100 to get something that feels more premium and may have better build quality.

Solid DIY Ratchet Screwdriver, Excellent Bahco Quality
I have a few Bahco handtools and have never been let down by them, i believe Bahco although Swedish in origin are actually owned by Snap On so thats a good pedigree for tools. I wanted a Screwdriver that had a bit compartment built in and ideally a ratchet, so with good reviews and being a Bahco Screwdriver i picked this up. The Good * The screwdriver feels well made the moment you pick it up, the shaft is quite thick compared to a few of the ratchet screwdrivers i looked at or have used in the past, the handle has a nice firm rubberised grip, the top of the grip has a two sided push and slide release for the bit compartment. * I found the bit holder to be just on the right side of tough to release, i wouldnt one that is going to slip out unnecessarily and this feels like its securely fitted. * The bits all appear to be decent quality, ive tried the PH1 and PZ2 so far, no issues. * The ratchet itself has been sound enough in the uses ive had from it thus far, its a reassuring click, there does feel like some play in the action but i think youll find that in most ratchet actions, were the play overly slack i would definitely notice, it doesnt feel like it in this case. * The shaft is a longer length so potentially having a stubby as well might be a good idea, i find using a stubby quickly gives me hand fatigue on jobs so ill probably pick up the equivalent too in a short while. * The bits sit securely in the shaft holder, i havent had any drop outs so far, when you either eventually wear the bits out or more likely lose one on the garage floor they are a standard fitment so you can top up the bit holder insert with replacements no problem. * Ive only had this for a week or so so its not had a lot of use but it feels durable, the action is robust, the shaft compartment doesnt make me worry it will drop out anytime soon. The Could Be Better * The only small room for improvement i would say is the proximity of the bits to each other in the tray. I have a couple of times found myself struggling to get my fat sausage like fingertips inbetween them to leverage one out. That said when i think about it i also struggle to get my fat fingertips probably inserted into a bit tray i have for a Teng Ratchet set so i probably need to lose some weight! Overall i would definitely recommend this, excellent size, comfortable in hand, replaces the need for multiple screwdrivers and so far it appears to be built to last. Buy one and the stubby too and youll never end up searching the house for the right screwdriver again! Five Stars.

Quality
I bought this back in 2017 and have used it ever day since as a service engineer so it gets a lot of use I still have it in my tool case and it is still as good as the day I first used it BAHCO Tools have a rep for quality and value for money I have had Snap-on screwdrivers in the past but they are not as nice to hold and you can't get as good a grip with them The BAHCO handle fits better in your hand and even with grease on your hands you can still get a good grip It is almost the end of 2025 so that is almost 8 years of hard service and it is still being used today and just as good as the day I bought it Would I purchase another if I lost it YES

Excellent rachet screw driver.
Bahco are part of the Snap On group and they are quality tools. Ive bought quite a few of their tools over the years and they've never let me down. I bought the ratchet screw driver after reviewing several different brands and im not disappointed. Its made to the usual Bacho quality and gives the impression that it should last for years. I did a Google image search and theres a blue point ratchet that selling for between £29 and £36 and its exactly the same. The only difference is the name on the ratchet. I bought the Bacho version for £12.

Sublime.
I'm a decorator. I need a ratcheting driver for many things: hinges, door handles, shelves, brackets, the list goes on. My old cheapo one was begging for the sweet release of the bin, mainly due to being abused daily for 5 years. So, I figured I'd upgrade the replacement. Oh boy, this thing is a delight. Genuine happiness each time I use it. The ratchet mechanism is solid, smooth and gives a reassurance that your twisting wrist energy is being transferred smoothly and efficiently. The magnet at the business end is surprisingly strong. I've managed to hold 4 screws on it, and continue to unscrew without them budging. Handy for those little fiddly screws. The best bit- The storage. So clever! Sure, it only holds 6 bits. But truly, how many does one need on a day to day basis? For me it's 4. So this is perfect. The push button and sprung release is brilliant too. Very user friendly, and the least "faffy" storage I've used. No messing with screwtops, or having to poke bits out of slots. The bits themselves are great quality. Even after letting a friend use it to remove worktop brackets that were corroded, the tips showed no damage. Wrecked a few screws though! Length. This is the only point that I'm a little less enthused about. I do like a slightly shorter tool usually- just prefer it in my hand and in the pocket/toolbelt. But. It is very handy having an extra inch clearance, makes those tight squeeze screws a little more accessible. For a daily driver that has such a nice finish and quality, you'd be hard pressed to beat it.

Fantastic! 5*
Easily the best ratchet screw driver I’ve used. Feels very durable and can withstand impact, it’s very handy that it comes with a secret compartment for hideaway heads! I feel for the price it’s a bit of a no brainer
