Pawz Disposable Dog Boots
I bought these from USA when first introduced new a few years ago. Folks wanting an extensive dog boot that can be used again and again, as these are not. They can be used depending where dogs walked many times as yet I have not had a torn boot when used for a dog with a sore paw that needed protection from elements and the dog licking it's paw making it worse, although I'm sure they should not be left on endlessly, as the elastic band can be rather tight which secures that they don't come off as with risk of losing other tried dog boots. I mostly have used them singular or on more than one sore paw that obviously needed protection to pads etc. I have never used them on a regular never ending daily basis and I don't believe dogs need endless paw protection unless advised by a vet. I have now the three sizes upto medium for a Cavalier King Charles spaniels. In three years my dog has outgrown some of their boots! I recently bought the medium size from Amazon as the earlier size bought for dogs front hairy paws had needed next size upwards. Back paws again are different sized so a dog might need two pack's of disposable 12 boots. I have a Cavalier bitch and again she needs different sizes. The Pawz website has a print off colour coded sheet that is excellent for ensuring correct measurement. Print a few for future resizing. It seems dogs paws are like kiddies feet. I found they're handy for wintertime incase encountering road salt crystals occasional getting in between their toes that can cause some red sores between the pads. Keeping paw hair between pads trimmed help with trimmer but winter conditions can be harsh with ice and salt etc. Mushers is another new product for dog paw protection. All are obtainable on Amazon with in my experience quick dispatch. Spaniel paws have hairy slippers so don't need.....

Doesn’t fall off!
Finally, something that doesn't fall off. Not as sturdy as I would like as a claw came through on first wear but the bottom remained intact so it can probably be used again.

They work!
I don’t expect them to last so long. Easy to put on. They stay in place and protect the foot. Excellent design.

For Pavement Pounders Only!
I purchased these for my 3 legged staffordshire as he can not wear a standard boot on his one remaining front leg, and suffers from sores due his slightly twisted foot. All i can say, is that like so many dog products these days, these are very much geared towards city dogs that pound the pavements day in and day out for 10 mins at a time. I walk mine for hours at a time in the open countryside, and most days my boy comes home with just a 'bracelet' of the boot left after the rest has gotten torn and ripped off on every little twig and bramble. Some days the boot is ripped open within a matter of minutes. The idea is great and suited my dog brilliantly, its just a shame that the product has no durability and isnt designed for active dogs doing decent walks. I shall stick to the mushers secret from now on.

Stay on well
I bought these for my greyhound/whippet cross who gets' very sore paws when running on the beach. They look similar to balloons and you stretch the neck to put on the paw.My dog accepted them and could run without fussing about them. They stayed on really well with vigorous running. They came off in the sea as there was a small tear in one. I'd recommend them for when your dog is healing or on lead or not hard running. I thought they were a good product but not hard wearing enough for my dogs needs.

Hugely helpful
I've been buying Pawz for some time. They are intended to protect bandages from getting wet or dirty, and are not specifically meant to be used as exercise boots, so if your dog is very active (particularly on pavement or stony ground), don't expect them to last long. Having said that, my old GSD (15 years) tends to scuff her back feet and these little rubber socks are great at protecting her pads - one pair lasts many weeks. I thoroughly recommend them for dogs whose feet are sensitive to grass, or who have cracked pads, and to protect dogs' feet from road salt in winter; if you want proper 'hiking boots', you'll need to spend a lot more on sturdy footwear! (Please note that because the neck of the bootie is very close-fitting, my vet recommends that they should not be worn for long periods - they should be removed as soon as the dog comes back from a walk.) Make sure you measure your dog's paws properly so that you order the right size.

Pawz in the Park!
These are just the job. My Boxer bitch had sore, bleeding pads around the margins from playing in particularly harsh re-frozen snow. I wanted something quick to protect them from further damage, so ordered these on Prime delivery. They are like mini swimming caps that stretch over the paw and stay on very well because the 'neck' is tight enough, The blue medium size are the perfect size for her (her paws are approx 2.5" wide and 3" long. She walked like a chameleon at first indoors, but the moment I got her outside she totally forgot she was wearing them! They stayed on for a long lead walk (including scratching up!), and a very long mega run in the park the following day. At the very end of this run they had split on the ends, but as they are primarily disposable, I was very pleased with how they stood up to her rough treatment. Saying that, they are reusable and I would imagine they would last for quite a few wears on a dog who wasn't as exuberant as mine, especially one that was wearing them due to a paw injury that was bothering them. As they come in packs of 12 I have 8 brand new ones to keep in stock in case of further injury.

I almost didn't get these because of some of the negative reviews, but I am THRILLED I did. The entertainment value alone is worth it... my dog literally PRANCES in these booties!! She doesn't care for having them put on, but once they are, she's like a young puppy with a new leash on life!! I let her out the door and she bolts for the snow and starts frolicking in joy. She's always loved snow but these booties seem to make her appreciate it even more, perhaps because it doesn't hurt her feet as much??? Then when she runs in these on regular pavement, the sucking sound of latex slapping the ground is hilarious! So I'm laughing, she's ecstatic, how much more joy can you infuse in an otherwise mundane and often tiresome event such as walking in cold wet snow to go poop?! Anyway, this morning was the last straw...my dog was so happy that I had to write a review. I'm really glad I got these overall - they have flaws, they're not perfect, but they're a good product and very good value. A few logistical comments for those who are looking for more than entertainment... - EASE OF USE They are definitely not easy to put on. My dog is long-haired (which is worse!) but she's trained to lift her feet for wiping off so I take advantage of that and can put them on by myself. It's like putting a sock on a wriggly baby - use both hands, front fingers to hold the booty open & navigate and back fingers to guide the paw. - SIZING My dog is a 45 lb terrier mutt. I got Medium and the fit is just ok. Apparently she has narrow legs because the booties stay on for about 5 minutes (probably because of all the furry hair to cling to) before stretching to the point where they fall off. So I can't use these for extended frolicking. But the amount of room in the actual paw part is generous. So for dogs who have narrow legs but big feet, the sizing will be difficult. I might go with a Small next time simply because of the width of her legs. Furthermore, they're too short. The booties are enough to protect the pads of the dog's feet and some of their "ankles" but no more. If the dog has long nails like mine, you'll get enough coverage to the top of the foot joint. Any leg/exposed fur on top of that is fair game for snow matting, which is my problem because she's long-haired...but since the product isn't marketed for this, I can't really complain (but Pawz, if you read this, I'm willing to pay a little bit more for longer booties.. hint hint!). - DURABILITY & VALUE As many have said, these are nothing more than thick latex, so long nails and other sharp objects will rip these. But each booty will last for 1-2 trips outdoors, and since the package comes with 24 and frolicking in the snow is generally not a rip-inducing event, I'm ok with the quality. - APPEARANCE What's there to say? These are balloon mittens for a canine foot. If you don't like the idea or look of your dog wearing thick balloons on his/her feet and you'll be embarrassed, don't get these. If your dog has self-esteem issues and hates looking silly, don't get these. But if your dog can handle them (or like mine, at least ACTS overjoyed when wearing them), and you either don't care how they look or get a kick out of seeing your dog act super-happy in them, then these are great!
