Easy Reader Women's 25 mm Leather Strap Date Window Watch

Nice leather watch although the leather looks a bit cheap. Good for everyday wear and easy to use. The width of the straps are a bit small for me but length is a good size. I think it's worth the money at the sale price. UPDATE: This watch is very poor quality. Leather straps that tuck the wristbands in have both torn and slipped off somewhere, after wearing the watch for only a couple of weeks! Not good quality at all. 5 months after purchase the leather wrist straps have snapped off - and I only wear the watch 3/4 times a week!! This is why I am changing the rating to 1 star only.

A little larger than you might expect and stands higher on the wrist, but this suited us. What didn't suit us was finding that the watch had clearly been returned by someone else after they had tried it - the thing was running and set to GMT+2 hours. It comes from Timex with a small plastic tab under the watch crown to stop the battery running down; you pull the tab out when you want to start it. It was already gone. So - quite unambiguous: returned goods sold as new (which is illegal). Battery died completely within 2 months. The strap also broke in a few months - poor quality. The watch itself is what we wanted - clear, plain, simple, unfussy and cheap. The Indiglo illumination is excellent. It doesn't look stylish or anything, but if you are prone to leaving watches lying around and want a cheap one for work, this fits the bill.

I thought the watch was fine, I could read it without putting on glasses (that was important to me), the light was handy at night. However, the first one I bought lasted about 5 months before stopping for no apparent reason, Amazon replaced it but the new one has stopped after only a little over one month. I will not buy again.

Watch works fine. Strap is rubbish, had for just over 3 months and the strap is cracking and will break very soon if I continue to wear. Had bought another of these watches previously, strap lasted a bit longer but the same thing happened. So if you buy, be prepared to buy a new strap

This product was a huge disappointment. It was more expensive than similar watches in Argos , Asda, etc; when it arrived the battery was already going and when you press the button to get it to light up, a moon -shaped sliver at the bottom did not light up (indicating battery is low). Then after about 2 weeks of wear, the strap snapped/ gave way at the point where it attaches to the buckle. I tried to return it, but despite prolonged attempts, I cannot get Amazon to allow this or let me speak to them by phone or email, or send me a replacement. Their customer service is hopeless. I am extremely dissatisfied and out of pocket and I still have no watch!!!! I give it zero stars!

This was supposed to be my everyday watch and was fine (except for the strap, which quickly wore out) but when, as I thought, the battery needed replacing the horologist quickly established that the works were actually the problem and it wasn’t worth trying to repair. Timex have ignored me and I’ve now realised that the price has gone up significantly, so I would hate for someone to buy this product thinking it would be robust and waste their money. Extremely disappointing all round. Timex, if you now decide. you want to get in touch, please do and I can update the review but until then, buyer beware.

I have purchased this watch in the past and have found it very reliable. I purchased this one from Amazon but it stopped after 3 months and despite the battery being changed still wouldn't work.

This watch seemed like it had what I wanted - a plain watch face and a built in light - but it's been nothing but trouble. Firstly, the strap is made from horrible material (hard leather?) which rubbed my wrist raw. I had to replace this with a nicer strap. Then, the battery stopped working. I got it in November and it stopped working in May. I bought a replacement battery, put it in the watch and now can't close the back. Several people have tried and one suggested pliers but I haven't got that desperate yet.

It's a dainty and pretty watch that's inexpensive! I read the reviews about the strap before buying so I've replaced it with a leather one. I've worn this daily for almost 2weeks and the time is accurate. I'm happy with it.
