Is the vellum paper any good for watercolour painting or is it too thin?

I used it in my printer, haven’t tried watercolour painting with it, but I think this paper won’t soak up the paint at all. It is thicker than normal printing paper, but isn’t the texture of watercolour paper.

I have made watercolour xmas cards can i ptint them onto this paper so i can keep original card

I just printed black and red text. It came out beautifully. I can't comment on any other colours besides these, but the quality of the paper is superb.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question. Is this plan based or actual traditional vellum, I.e. animal skin. Thanks.

It's not the same as the usual semi-transparent vellum. It's completely opaque, textured and similar to hand-made paper - not suitable for embossing. I hope this answers your question.
