Everbuild Jetcem Deep Rapid Repair Sand and Cement, Grey, 6 kg

Needed a small amount for a small job, quickly and our local sellers were either not open or hadn't got what I needed. Amazon to the rescue again! Perfect size, great value and so easy to use with no wasted product left. Did the course of bricks and a few repairs needed, didn't go off too quickly allowing you to position correctly. Once set it was solid. Tempted to have a bag in hand but is it needed with this level of service? I think not. Very pleased.

Great Product

Right, I'm not going to add anything more about Jetcem setting very quickly as enough has been highlighted on the Amazon reviews; just be quick, be very, very quick! Anyway, I'm going to add 2 points about this product that hasn't been highlighted before that may add something else to the reviews after I re-grouted my paving slabs and tried 2 different methods of application. Firstly, I tried the fill with the powder into the area that needed grouting and then wait for the rain to set the concrete - don't bother, as it didn't set correctly and washed away with the hose. Next I tried mixing the cement as listed in the instructions and then applying - it worked beautifully and even a Karcher pressure washer couldn't dismantle my efforts. Secondly, there is a small warning on the package about the use of protective equipment when using this product. Naturally as a man, I ignored this so with one visit to A&E later I suggest that you don't ignore it - having lost the skin on my fingers I can confirm that concrete burns are very painful!!! It's a BRILLIANT product, but make sure you wear the correct equipment.

Sets very quickly, so watch out for that. Also, you'll need to keep the bag in dry conditions if you don't intend to use it right away. Storing for three months or more in a damp outhouse, for instance, will result in the sand getting damp and setting in the bag. I just got there in time with mine (three months) and that was in spring with very little rain. The bigger issue is the price on here. Originally paid £9.90 for 6Kg, which is a lot. Three months later and it's almost £13, yet going onto another site I see they're £8.80 for the same 6Kg bag, which includes free, three day delivery. The motto is, don't assume the prices on here are the best!

Cement ready made that only need to put water and it will set in 30 minutes,it’s good for repairing and making homemade crafts. I’ve bought quite a lot of this ready mix cement

This is the best we’ve found for doing the grouting in between the slabs, everything else we used just cracked and this hasn’t. Hope it stands up to the winter months. Fingers crossed, that’s why it’s 4 stars and not 5

Excellent product. Not a great DIYer but very easy to use in strengthening patio pointing. Just follow the instructions!

Hyper facile à poser

Fácil, rápido y buen resultado. Nuca había trabajado con este tipo de materiales y a pesar de mi inexperiencia resultó extremadamente fácil hacer la mezcla y darle uso. Me gustó como quedó una vez seco (color, textura) por lo que lo recomiendo.
