LEGO Super Heroes Clash of the Heroes Building Set (Multi-Colour)

Bought this for £8. Well worth it just for the batman and superman figure. A must buy set for anyone who loves the characters. The actual set is quite good and comes with a gun that fires which went down well. Like most lego sets looks quite small as a gift but was very well received (by her dad as well)

Brought as a gift. Well priced and well received by a five year old boy!

This is a fairly small lego set, which is obviously to coincide with the new film, Batman Vs Superman. My little nephew really wanted this – the set itself is suggested for 6-12 and he is only five, but my 11 year old son made this and it really only took him a short time; it was finished within twenty minutes or so.You get a little ‘rooftop’, a Superman figure which can ‘jump’ with a little plastic piece that attaches to the feet and you can hold down like a tiddlywink and release. There is also a Batman who is wearing an armoured suit; part of which seems to glow in the dark. The armoured suit that Batman wears was much admired and, for this alone, it was worth the price. My nephew has not put these characters down all day – forget the actual rooftop, it was the figures he loves.So, if you are looking for a lego set to build then this will not really give you a lot of play value. It is not intricate in any way. However, for play value, I cannot fault it. The figures look great and he loves them, so that is all that matters.

Am a huge DC and Marvels Lego fan. Only really liked the mini figures and these two look great in my LEGO presentation box that I have.Excellent delivery time and very well packaged. Dont need to say much more than that really

As a LEGO and DC fan I often pick up the full range of sets (If I can afford them) and it's great to see a cheap support set for the Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice movie. However, this set doesn't really stand true to the quality I've come to expect even from these smaller sets where there are obviously limitations on the designer.I feel a good effort has been made to create a scene from the movie and some great play features have been incorporated, but that for all intents and purposes this is a very loosely put together mash of bricks. It feels like something a child would make themselves when trying to recreate said scene - which of course is cool for kids and does encourage expansion of the scene in play.On the other hand, you do get two excellent minifigures, armored Batman is fantastic and although it's a shape the 'armor' section covers some really intricate detailing on the figures torso he looks awesome overall. As a plus the glowing elements used on the head are great and really represent the armored suit so well. Superman is fairly standard but it's great to see both main characters from the movie in such an easy to purchase set.Overall this is worth picking up for the minifigures alone, but don't expect an exciting build or an awesome display item as it doesn't hold up so much on that end. Buying for kids though, then this will be a winner as the play value is huge!

Such a great little set, sure to make a little boy smile on Christmas day. Cheaper than on the high street (or the Entertainer at least) for exactly the same thing. Arrived in good time.
