Yes. The first ingredient is Cane Sugar and the final one is flavour enhancer Monosodium Glutamate.

When is the expiration for this?

It can last years after the exp date if properly stored. If it starts to smell off then it's gone bad but if you don't notice any chance in smell you're good to go.

Does this product contain gluten?

Wheat flour GLUTEN, Rice. Potato are GLUTEN FREE. There is quite a latitude in the making of HOMEMADE GOCHUJANG CHILLI PASTE as to what bulkers, which also serve as a fuel for fermentation are in it. Some use wheat flour, some rye, some rice but the commercial versions have to maintain consistency so go with what, for them, sells.

I’m looking for the mildest gochujang there is. How hot is this one?

This isn't particularly hot but I certainly wouldn't call it mild !!
