Cuticura Mildly Medicated Talcum Powder / Body Powder 250g | Packaging May Vary

This product is great for men. I bought this last week and I use it on my groin area as I work alot and long hours. This product stops sticking nuts and keeps everything dry and clean. You don't needs loads and it smells like deodorant. Eve the following day it's still dry and summer is a killer for the boys downstairs. It does the job very well and I'll be using this regularly. It makes the skin feel smooth and it stops any chub rub.

I used to tease my elderly aunt when she bought Cuticura Talc in the old days, but she knew what she was doing. This is the best talc I have ever used. It has a lovely delicate fragrance and with a sensitive skin, as I have, it is wonderfully soothing without being cloggy on the skin. It eases most dermatological irritations especially around sensitive and personal areas and keeps me feeling fresh and soothed all day long. I have been using Cuticura Mildly Medicated Talc for about three years now and wish I had taken my aunt's advice sooner because I realise now what I have been missing. To get the best results, first wash or bathe thoroughly, dry with a soft towel and then apply a light dusting of Cuticura Mildly Medicated talc to all areas which tend to chafe or perspire. Top up, if necessary, during the day and you will benefit from this lovely talcum powder's soothing effects. I'm very pleased with this powder. It has a very light perfume, not over powering.

I work in the offshore oil industry and I frequently work in hot countries, or hot environments. I have used cuticura for many years, after showering, to both treat and prevent sweat-rash and fungal infections. most particularly around the groin area. I find cuticura tends not to form clumps if applied to slightly damp skin, or while you sweat during the day. It certainly seems to speed up the effectiveness of topical creams/ointments when treating fungal infections and I find it definitely has a better effect than simply using talcum powder (eg baby powder). It seems finer grained than talcum-powder. There is hardly any scent or smell to it, so you dont have that strong cloying talcum-powder smell following you around. Previously, Cuticura always came in metal containers, and I found they used to get deformed, squshed, dented, in my bags and leaks would develop along the seam just below the pint where the container starts to taper towards the "shaker". The metal ones are predominantly white containers as on this link: THREE PACKS of Cuticura Talcum Powder Mildly Medicated x 250g These new containers are the same size and shape but are some sort of plastic and are slightly pliable, and actually are more resistant to that form of damage. I think it is a definite improvement. In fact I have also realised thaat with the plastic container it is now possible to squeeze the container and "puff" the powder upwards - eg into the groin area. I strongly recommend Cuticura over any alternatives that I have tried, and even more so now in the plastic container. EDIT Nov 2016: I have contacted the makers of Cuticura and unfortunately (in my opinion) they have gone back to the metal tins. I do have several of the plastic containers still, so when a buy a new tin, I prise the top off, and transfer the contents to the plastic container. Be careful if you do that - the top edge exposed when you remove the top section of the tin is razor-sharp. I cut myself quite badly the first time I did it. I have reduced my rating to 4 stars because of the metal container. The cuticura powder is still the best that I have used.

Love this product but not a nice as the original which i purchased in the 1960.... The case was orange and the smell was strong and beautiful Everybody i new asked what perfume i was wearing I said cuticura for body cleaners.

I'm normally a baby powder user but I've found that it's not as effective as I'd like for keeping dry certain areas of my skin. I'm disabled and have some areas that are prone to becoming sore, especially since hitting menopause. I decided to try this brand, as its new to me, even though its a well established one. The smell is slightly medicinal but that's to be expected as it states this. It's not an unpleasant smell, it's just different to what I'm used to. Not a bad thing. The texture is good, it's not too dusty, but like any talc product, it will go onto other items if you're too liberal. It wipes off easy though. I find it lasts well and it has helped to keep the areas dry and help to heal any soreness that's developed prior to use.

Been using for literally years and years, original and best in my opinion. Keeps skin fresh, healthy and comfortable even in more testing conditions.
