Baker's Angel Flake Sweetened Coconut 198g

I love this sweetened coconut for baking (and grabbing handfuls to nibble on!!). Makes the most delicious, moist cakes and muffins! I often buy when on offer and freeze and it's still fresh and great to use. Thoroughly recommend!

This is lovely coconut but the size for the price is just not worth the expense

Unfortunately not available in our supermarkets but essential in some USA recipes. A little costly - but used for old timey recipes.

I bought this to make London cheesecakes but the bits were really small and didn’t have the same bite to them. Extremely sweet too.

Was looking for coconut to add to my oatmeal cookies and everything here's dried out coconut, which ain't gonna do me or my cookies much good.Was so pleased to find this, as what I used to use back home, and was even more pleased at the results it gave my cookies.And happy to find there's a bigger bag size to this so I'll be buying that next for sure.

Apart from being the only sweetened coconut I have been able to buy, it is close to the stuff I remember from 60 years ago. It is excellent for bun making and London cheese cakes in particular. The product keeps well (longer than suggested on packet) once opened. However, it is quite expensive, but does go a long way.

Wicked! You’ll never use UK desiccated coconut again.
