Judge Electric Skillet Non-Stick Multicooker, 30cm, Electric Frying Pan with Glass Lid & Carry Handles

I purchased this little cooker as Judge was the name on the label and we had one of their frying plans for years of reliable service. Apart from the name I also bought the cooker as its low wattage which is idea for use on camp sites and in particular where the output is low wattage. On first use it is a little disconcerting as it keeps switching off on at the low settings and you have to get used to it coming up to a boil for a few seconds and then shutting down. I haven’t had a pan that cycles on/off with such an effect. Don’t get me wrong, the temperature of the food is maintained and I have both slow cooked a curry over several hours on a low setting and pan fried steak, garlic, tomatoes, mushrooms and onions all in the same pan on a high setting. (On the high setting it’s fairly constantly at high temperature and doesn’t switch off). It’s so versatile once you get used to it’s querky on/off cooking you’ll be glad you made the purchase. It’s early days yet so long term I will update this review but after a month of regular use in our Motorhome the non-stick coating has remained intact and makes it very easy to clean. I ended up using this little cooker as preference to the BBQ as its so easy to clean.

It’s very good and a good size. It cooks loads of things and it’s handy having the heavy glass lid. The temperature control takes a bit of getting used to because it seems like it keeps turning off but I think that’s just maintaining temperature. If you’re patient with it it’s very good. I’ve made pancakes, crumble mix, v chilli, v sausages, banana bacon, lots of things. I’m going to experiment and see if I can make a cake in it, it will be an extremely large cake but who cares! It’s very good oh yeah and very easy to clean

Works fine but temp control a bit hit and miss. Have to keep adjusting to keep it going.

Very nice to fry with and heats up straight away

Cooks from eggs, meat and full on meals. Light weight, cooks everything through and heats up very fast. The heat is very evenly spread throughout the pan. Only issue I’ve had from a few months of using it is that the raw rice struggles to not stick against the pan but continuous stirring helps. Great value for its money and easy to clean.

I was so looking forward to using this product but it soon turned to dissapointment. The product looks great, designed great and a great price. All to be let down by the thermostat that kicks in and shuts all the cooking process down. The pan goes from extremely hot (good) to extremely cool, cool enough to touch the pan base with my finger. It is cool far far to long that all the cooking stops. The temperature returns briefly and the good old stat kicks in again. So frustrating!. I have noticed that most electric pans and woks use the exact same thermostat system and it is far beyond my comprehension to understand why. A simple dial to turn heat up and down would be to much to ask for. After all I am an adult and capable of regulating heat. It also has the affect of putting me off buying products like this on line as I have to repackage and send it back at the cost of £8.10. Basically a different way to regulate heat so you can have a constant heat if desired and this product would be GREAT.

Couldn't recommend enough. Was tricky trying to get the temperature right at first but once we figure it out worked brilliantly. It seems like it's either hot or nothing but not a problem. We cooked all sorts in it. Cleaning was great, wipe it out and then just gave it a quick wash wasn't sticking at all. Might even buy another for when we have our kitchen done and won't have a hob.

Thermostats not great, switches off at required temperature but takes too long to turn on again. You end up having to turn the knob up to turn the heat on again and then back down. A bit of a pain

Pfanne würde mit Stecker BS 1363 (UK-Stecker) geliefert kann nur mit Adapter betrieben werden.

En la publicidad pone un tamaño peror ealmente no es ese. Anuncian una anchura de 42 cmts pero la sarten en sí mide 30 cmts. 42 no es el tamaño de la vasija si no el total contando las asas

Enchufe es para ingletera!!! Y no viene con adaptador para España ni se explica eso en la descripción. Que Defraude. Lo voy a devolver.
