There is no strap button fitted as standard on ukuleles because ukulele straps attach to the instrument differently..but you can always pick these up for around £1 each at a music shop or even elsewhere online and they are simple to fit.

Does it come with a case

My Kala KA-C concert uke did not come with a case so bought one separately whereas my baritone which I did not buy through Amazon but through Normans via Tesco.com came with a padded case. My soprano also came with a case but a rather flimsy one with no padding. My concert uke case is hard wood with velvet lining inside made by Clearwater and if I remember rightly was about £20 but it does have a compartment for a tuner and plectrum as well as I zip up pocket on the outside. Hope this answers your query.

is the top laminate or solid?

Hi David the one I bought is laminate top but don't let that put you off especially if you are a beginer uke player. It sounds great, gets great reviews from lots of people who have bought one and I am left handed and I even managed to swap the strings round and it still holds its tune. All in all a great uke for the price am i recommend it. S solid top uk ewill sound better in years to come but this one is good enough for me. I can't stop playing it. Hope this helps. By the way Kala do a solid verson for about £180, laminate about £80.
