INAIRS AIR0 (SML) - 3 Pairs of Foam Tips - Upgrade your Earphones for Superior Sound & Noise Isolation

Finally! Comfortable earphone tips that actually REMAIN on the earphones rather than coming off inside my ears! Previously, I bought some Comply T-500 earphone tips to use on my various earphones, only to find that they have a nasty (dangerous) tendency of remaining inside my ears when I remove the earphones (indeed, I had to have one carefully removed from deep inside my left ear). In response, I searched once more for a comfortable earphone tip that would not only eliminate the discomfort I feel when wearing the typical silicone variety, but would actually remain attached to the earphones as I removed them. The reviews here on Amazon, and around the web, for the INAIRS were resoundingly positive, and so I committed and ordered a box of them. Thus far I have been using them for several days, on three different pairs of earphones (I have a wired pair, a wireless pair, and a special "low-profile" wired pair for use while riding a motorcycle. MEASURE THE SHUNT ON YOUR EARPHONES BEFORE ORDERING! Not all earphones have the same diameter "shunt", and INAIRS sells tailored earphone tips for three different sizes. Note that the indicated size (Small, Medium, Large) is NOT related to the size of the shunt... rather to the diameter of the foam tips themselves. Consider BOTH measurements before you commit to ordering. Also keep in mind that your ear canals may be different sizes. One ear might (for example) be a Small, while the other (again, for example) may be a Medium. DON'T BE AFRAID OF USING DIFFERENT SIZED EARPHONE TIPS FOR EACH EAR. It's not about how they look when you aren't using them, it's about how comfortable a fit you get when you are. Comfort: It's entirely likely that, assuming you buy the correct size for your ears (AND REMEMBER THAT YOU MAY NEED A DIFFERENT SIZE FOR EACH EAR), you could end up forgetting that you're wearing your earphones at all. Indeed, I've worn my wireless pair for two full 8.5 hour work days without any issues what-so-ever... no mean feat considering that these wireless earphones are quite weighty compared to the cabled variety, and have - with inferior earphone tips - had a tendency to slip out during the course of a day. Noise Cancelling: I'm estimating here, but I would say they reliably cancel out AT LEAST 90% of all background noise. I've walked through a busy town centre while wearing mine, and what little background sound I could pick up, I couldn't make out a single word of what was being said. I couldn't hear ANY traffic noise what-so-ever on busy roads. Remarkable, it really is! Ease of use: Simply pull the silicone tips off your earphones, and push these wonderful foam ones in instead. You may want to turn the tip slightly as you push it over the shunt on the end of your earphones... just to make it go on easier. But that's it, you're ready to go. I RECOMMEND TESTING HOW MUCH FORCE IS REQUIRED TO REMOVE THE TIPS FROM THE EARPHONES. It goes without saying that not all earphones have the same prominent "lip" for their earphone tips, and I advise you to make sure they are holding firm BEFORE putting them in your ears, just to be safe. PRO TIP - Inserting into the ear: A good tip I can impart is to pinch the ends of your earphone tips before inserting them into your ears. Remember that these are MEMORY FOAM, and will return to their original shape over the course of around 20-30 seconds. If you pinch the ends, they're going to glide more gently into your ears, and sit more comfortable within the ear canal once they return to their original shape (or as close thereto as possible). Gently pull on your ear lobes as you push the earphones in. This opens up the ear canal, reducing friction between earphone tips and your ear canal. It also means the earphones will sit deeper inside your canal, cutting out EVEN MORE background noise, increasing the audio clarity and bass from your earphones. PRO TIP - Removing from your ears: Before trying to remove your earphones, a good idea is to press on the small "lobe" on the face-ward side of your ears to slightly squish the earphone tips. Then pull on the main lobe slightly while pulling the earphone out. Again, this will minimize friction between earphone tips and your ear canal. This also further helps reduce any risk of the earphone tips remaining inside your ear canals when the earphones come out (though that risk is laughably small with this particular set of tips). So, enjoy your INAIRS... I certainly am! The price (aprox £5 for 5 pairs at the time of writing) beats pretty-much all of the competition, and - so far at least - these have proven to be the best for me.

I've used these earphone tips for about 2 weeks now, so I thought it would be a good time to leave a review. The chief motivation for me to buy these was because my ear canal has a pretty different shape: my left ear is quite a bit smaller/tighter than my right, which results in almost all earbuds being a better fit on my left than my right. Now I'm a pretty sensitive person in terms of hearing and balance, and so the standard tips always leave my left ear secure but my right ear always allows a bit of sound in... didn't like it. I read some reviews of this product and most had been positive, so I thought I should give it a try. First impression is pretty good - it isolates the sound pretty well, which in turn sharpens the audio coming from my earphones. It has also been a better fit for my peculiar ears than the standard ones, so that's really good for me. Also, these are really comfortable. After a while of adjustment I hardly feel my earphones and they are quite sturdy - no risk of falling out! I can think of two downsides. First is £. Like, including shipping these cost about £15 for 5 so I'm thinking, yes the music quality is better but is it £3 better? I'm not so sure. Also, though the quality of the tips are good, I am a heavy user (I work at a desk job which means that I listen to music almost throughout the day as well... I'd say about 5-6 hours a day minimum) and what that means is that after 2 weeks I think it is quite noticeable that the tips are quite a bit softer now. Now I'm sure this is intended - but I'm just trying to think how long 5 pairs is going to last me, and whether I would keep using it if one of them only lasts about a month? Having to buy these every half a year would surely be a hassle. Not sure though, maybe it will pull through and I only need to buy these once a year? Will definitely recommend though if you want something comfortable, don't mind spending a little bit of money to increase your comfort and sound quality.

This is a very well worth upgrade to any quality earphones coming with the usual rubber sealing. I cannot compare the comfort and improvement in noise isolation and sound quality! And the best thing: no more readjustments and repeated plugging the earpieces back into my ears all the time. I roll the foam to small size, insert my earphones, wait few second until the foam grows back and fills in my ear canal and boom. Stable position and perfect sealing as long as I want. Also used on airplanes, and it is surely a big reduction in the noise. Helps to focus and relax more than what any rubber sealing ever helped. UPDATE: I've ordered them in March 2016, this is mid Sept 2016 and only yesterday one of them broken. This means the foamy part and the inner, more rigid tube part separated, so the foam started to dismantle as the inner part started to go through it in an off direction. This means despite the original 4 weeks guarantee the first pair lasted for me 6 months (and actually the other one is still fine). So this is just a praise for the excellent quality of the product and the manufacturer who delivered way beyond promise. I hope they won't lover their standard. By the way I've been using them for several hours avg. 4 days a week with a lot of pulling out and reinserting. On the other hand this happened on the first day of my week long trip and I have no replacements with me, so just a note for you: if going on a trip bring a replacement pair with yourself. They are selling them in bulk for a reason.

1. After less than 2 hours usage, the inner rubber(?) part of one of the foam tips separated from the memory foam outer, rendering that foam tip useless. These were purchased as a 3no. test pack to figure out which size tip suited me. Maybe I was unlucky, but the durability/quality issue means I won't be buying any more. 2. I measured my earphone diameter with accurate digital calipers so that I was able to purchase the size of tips recommended by INAIRS. Unfortunately, even though they're supposedly the correct size they don't fit tightly onto the earphones, meaning the tips get left behind in your ear when removing the earphone. 3. When fitted, these INAIRS tips project much further out from the earphone compared to the stock silicone tips, causing the earphones no longer to fit correctly into their charging case, and so they cannot be reliably charged unless you *remove the INAIRS tips every single time you charge the earphones*. I see that lots of other people have hit this same problem. This last issue is a complete show stopper: no one is going to remove and replace the tips every single time that their earphones are placed into the charger. With wireless buds, they're continually going into and out of their case multiple times a day. If tried removing and then refitting these INAIRS tips *every single time you placed your buds in their case* then I can guarantee that these tips will fall apart within days. In my opinion, these tips seems like a good idea, but in reality are a load of rubbish: poorly manufactured, dodgy sizing and weak design. Total waste of money IMO!

I like these foam tips quite a bit. However, I find it very hard to justify more than three stars in their present incarnation. I will tell you why (and really hope their makers listen... no pun intended!) They come in a great little box that looks very neat. The fit is quite good, though I feel that the M size is slightly large for my (usually) medium ear canals. Isolation is decent but by no means outstanding in comparison to standard silicone tips. These are very far from regular memory foam ear plugs sold in hardware store, for example. A real positive is how well they keep in place once inserted and I feel very confident that they will not fall out even during exercise. The sound, while not night and day, has quite likely improved. Now for the cons. First and biggest is the fact that the first pair wore to shreds in little over two weeks of very mild use. The material simply stared to crumble and I am reluctant to use them lest my ear canals be filled with little flakes of memory foam. Yuk! The other issue, also mentioned by previous reviewers, is that they pick up dust and pocket lint like magnets. Given that these things go into your ear, this is quite a big issue, if one is at all concerned with hygiene. Also, ear wax sticks to them far more than silicone tips, making them a very messy affair and in need of constant cleaning I have never had to do with regular earplugs. So all in all would I recommend them? Yes, but only given you can live with the above limitations. They are certainly cheap and I will use up my 5-pack before looking further. Once they all crumble, however, I will most likely give a competitor brand a try.

Updated 5/4/18: Well, that turned out to be a complete risk free purchase. I have been refunded for the tips that didn't suit my ears... Has to be a five star all round due to amazing customer service! I bought 2 different pairs as I have 2 pairs of IEM's... Westone UM3X: 2 STARS: I usually buy the Red True-Fit by Westone. I'm wearing the Inair3 right now with the UM3X. They're fine while I'm sat, though I had to change one pretty much after minutes of use. The foam wasn't staying compressed long enough to get it in my ears. The foam is very soft, and comfortable because of this but it doesn't feel stable in my ear and it's taken me a while to get a seal. Once in and right they sound OK, but not great and they don't seems to stay put in my ear, even while I'm sat. I'm just not getting the detail and clarity I get with the Westone Reds. The drop of two stars is down to this and down to the foam not staying compressed long enough, thee lack of stability and fit with these IEM's and my ears... They don't go in deep enough to create a stable feel and it's difficult to maintain a seal. I'm gonna stick with the Westone Red in future. Sound Magic E10: 5 STARS I had the comply tips to fit these, before buying the Inair Air 2's. I've gotta say that it genuinely feels like an upgrade for these phones when using the Inair tips. The comply's were hard to get in and difficult to get a seal with. They were that hard that at times they ripped of the plastic. The Inairs are much softer foam and easily go into my ear and feel comfortable once in. These sound IEM's sound great with these tips in my ears... the bass is punchy and present and all round these IEM's sound significantly better with these tips. They now sound and feel like more expensive IEM's. I think the message here, if you want to take one, is that everyone's ears are different and different IEM's will feel different with different tips in different peoples ears... it's all about finding the right one for you, your ear and your IEM.

I've been a fan of compressible foam earphone tips for the last 10 years, using various types and makes with a trusty pair of Shure in ear monitors (SE525's - fantastic headphones BTW). After purchasing a cheaper pair of headphones for use with my phone (Sennheiser CX 5.00G In-Ear canal Headphones) I decided to try out something other than Shure's own excellent tips (which don't quite fit the Sennheisers) and try INΛIRS AIR3 (M) Earphone Tips that are compatible with the Sennheisers and I've been using them for a couple of months now. There are four criteria that I generally judge headphones by: Audio performance, noise isolation, physical fit and comfort. The tip's audio performance is excellent. When compared to standard tips provided with most in-ear headphones and monitors the INΛIRS certainly enhance any device they are fitted to, which is great if you have a good pair of headphones but can also highlight any weaknesses in cheaper headphone's performance. So while they might make a pair of £15 headphones sound a bit better, they will more likely show up all the weaknesses they have - poor frequency response, harmonics, vibration, cable noise etc, etc. By comparison they will make a good pair of £50 headphones sound brilliant. I've tried the tips with award-winning Sony and Sennheiser headphones in the £50-£75 price range and all sound clearer, brighter, crisper. When fitted with the INΛIRS tips my headphones (apart from the already excellent but 10 year old Shure SE525s) they appear to have a greater dynamic range so some input adjustment might be necessary for headphones whose response is biased towards certain frequencies to get a more balanced output. (e.g. my Sony MDR EX650's bass response needed some reigning in when fitted with these tips, however the Sennheiser CX5.00G needs no adjustment and the tips show off its more balanced and neutral soundstage). The primary reason I use foam tips is to reduce external noise when listening to music or watching video on mobile devices. The noise reduction capabilities of the INΛIRS AIR3 earphone tips are superb across the frequency range making them ideal for use on a daily commute or environments with significant noise pollution. For noise performance reason alone I would recommend purchasing INΛIRS earphone tips however it's important to remember that finding the right one for you might require some experimentation before you find the right size, fit and make for you. Too small a tip and any performance improvements are quickly lost and external noise will not be filtered out. Too large and the extra foam will put unnecessary pressure on the wall of the ear canal quickly making the ear sore as well as making listening for extended periods very tiring. The fitting guides on INΛIRS' website are invaluable for getting the right tips for your headphones. The external diameter of the medium size tip of the INΛIRS AIR3 are ~12.5mm (0.5"). It's also important to keep the tips clean and the earphones clear of skin and earwax for the well-being of your ears as well as the headphone's performance. Earphone tips also have a limited lifespan so they will need to be replaced regularly. The advantage of compressible foam tips is that they can provide a firm yet comfortable grip to the sides of the ear canal making them both secure (i.e. a good fit) and providing a noise free environment. The tapered shape of the AIR3 tips accounts for the natural narrowing of the ear canal which I find makes them very comfortable and great for using for extended periods, particularly because you can listen to music at a lower volume with less background noise. Looking at the tips after 8 weeks of daily use (2+ hours per day) I'd say that they've stood up extremely well. They've been cleaned daily, washed weekly with mild soap and disinfectant and even now are they are still comfortable and providing near total noise reduction. In the end, once you've decided to use custom tips, it comes down to finding a design that is comfortable for you. Out of all the tips I've used over the last 10 years, these INΛIRS AIR3 have proven themselves to be a great buy and I will be buying more tips soon. N.B. + they fit many buds with +/-5mm size (wide compatibility) + good seal from outside noise + secure packaging - poor durablity (1 month max) - confusing sizing - troublesome putting on - expensive for something disposable These eartips "cured" me from the whole idea of memory foam eartips. Sure, they come well packaged (thick cardboard box), offer 3 sizes to choose from (although I see no difference between M and L), fit many buds on the market (tested on off-brand 5mm ones) and provide great seal from any noise around you but... Right after unboxing you're informed by the leaflet attached that the tips' expected lifespan is... 1 month. Does 9 quid a month for this make sense? Certainly not for me. The reason for such poor durablity lies in materials used: memory foam is fragile on it's own so it needs a decent material wrapping it around and keeping it in one piece. The one used here is ultra thin and fragile on its own. Another problem is putting them on. While putting regular tips takes seconds, with these you have to grab one, compress, put in your ear, hold in your ear while it decompresses, repeat with the other. And yes, it's as time-consuming & annoying as it sounds. To summarize, it's just too much hassle for marginal or nonexisting gains. Expensive (for what it is) solution which solves one problem just to create another. You're most likely better off with premium, conventional eartips or wing hooks. Memory foam as an eartips material is just a concept too difficult for manufacturers to implement it properly.

Nunca hubiese creido que con estos tapones los iem empiecen a oirse como muy buenos auriculares. Auriculares que tenia abandonados por sonar sin apenas graves y con audio verdaderamente malo, con estos tapones recobran vida y calidad de sonido. Los recomiendo encarecidamente empezando por la cajita de los 3 tamaños y probar las 3 medidas. Es la única manera que tienes de verificar cual es que mejor se adapta a tu conducto auditvo con una mejora de calidad de audio sorprendente. Además no se caen ni aunque quieras. Confortables de usar. No he usado otros para comparar pero no lo considero necesario. Con estos no creo que haya otros que los mejoren. Llevo más de 1 mes con los mismos tapones y todavia tienen para rato. Adelante con ellos. Ya no es necesario gastarse mucho dinero en unos auriculares si dispones de estos tapones.

Ich habe die Dinger nun seit etwa 2 Wochen. Da ich meine Kopfhörer täglich nutze, habe ich die INAIRS ausgiebig getestet und werde euch nun veraten, was ich von denen halte. Erstmal was zum Allgemeinen. Die Lieferung erfolgte schnell. Da ich aber Prime-Kunde bin ist das in meinen Augen eine Voraussetzung. In der Packung waren insgesamt zehn Stöpsel, also fünf Paar enthalten. Ich habe versucht das Ganze in verschiedene Kategorien einzuteilen und diese einzeln zu bewerten: Ich hatte mir die AIR2 in der selben Größe, wie die Originalstöpsel bestellt. Die Passform ist in meinen Augen sehr gut. Sie bereiten keine Schmerzen in den Ohren und halten wunderbar. Mittlerweile habe ich mehrere Laufeinheiten hinter mir und ich muss sagen, dass die Kopfhörer seitdem mir noch kein einziges Mal aus dem Ohr gefallen sind. Insgesamt muss ich sagen, dass sie noch ein Stückchen besser passen als die originalen Stöpsel von Sennheiser, obwohl diese in meinen Augen auch schon sehr gut waren. Also Passform im Ohr: 5/5 Ich war mir bei der Bestellung nicht wirklich sicher, dass die Stöpsel wirklich gut auf meine In-Ears passen würden, da ich schon öfter gelesen habe, dass es bei Produkten der Konkurrenz Probeleme beim draufstecken gibt. Umso überraschter war ich, als ich ohne Probleme die Stöpsel auf meine Kopfhörer ziehen konnte. Sie halten bombenfest und rutschen bei bisher keiner Belastung ab. Hatte ich vorher so nicht erwartet. Montage und Halt: 5/5 Weiterhin ist der Sound wirklich sehr gut. Man hört alles klar und deutlich. Das Noise Canceling ist ebenfalls gut. Die Umgebungsgeräusche werden deutlich gemindert, nicht aber so stark, dass man von der Umwelt gar nichts mehr mitbekommt. Man kriegt immer noch mit, wenn Autos kommen und läuft nicht Gefahr etwa einfach auf die Straße zu laufen. Sound: 5/5 Die Qualität ist leider ein bischen zweischneidig. Ich habe nun insgesamt zwei Pakete ausprobiert. Mit dem ersten war ich absolut nicht zufrieden. Eines der Stöpsel war schon bei Erhalt der Lieferung beschädigt. Das Röllchen innen ragte raus und verursachte ein unangenehmes Drücken im Ohr. Nach etwa zwei Wochen habe ich festgestellt, das eines der Stöpsel schon gerissen ist. Beim zweiten Paket sah die Sache schon ganz anders aus. Die Verarbeitung ist um Längen besser. Nach nun längerer Zeit kann ich beim bisher ersten Paar noch keinerlei Abnutzungserscheinungen feststellen. So sollte es sein! Wie der Kundendienst mir versichert hatte, muss es sich bei dem Paket um eine Fehlproduktion gehandelt haben. Durch diese Schwankungen in der Verarbeitung gibt es 4/5 Als leztes möchte ich noch den überragenden Kundenservice loben. Dieser hat mich sofort angeschrieben, nachdem ich meine Probleme mit dem ersten Paket geschildert habe und mir überaus freundlich und kompetent weitergeholfen. Bei Fragen rate ich euch also, sich dort einfach mal zu melden.
