AKORD 150 Pack Paper Drinking Straws Candy Series for Everyday, Party, Wedding, Celebration (Rainbow)

In the past we've used plastic straws at home but decided to be more environmentally friendly and switch to paper so that we could recycle them after use. We've tried a few different straws but as you tend to find in restaurants and pubs they go soggy very quickly.But, these straws are fantastic. Even after 20-30 minutes of use they're not soggy, hold their shape and are incredibly durable.We also bought a retro American diner type dispenser to show them off as in addition to the durability they're actually very pretty multi-coloured straws.They've lasted us almost about 8 months and as you can see in the image we're running a bit low now. We've found our preferred brand of paper straws so will be buying these again once we've run out.Very happy with this purchase almost 8 months later.

Each colour of these straws come in their own plastic wrapper which seems very unnecessary considering the vast majority of people who are ordering them are choosing to do so over the plastic version and having so much plastic defeats the object. The straws are nice and colourful, fairly thin, so if purchasing for smoothies or milkshakes possibly wont be ideal. They seem to hold up as well as any paper straw does when in liquid, but over all they do the job well.

Pretty colours but they go soggy quite quickly when left in a drink. Packaging was a BIG disappointment as all colours individually wrapped in plastic!!! Defeats the object of buying plastic free straws!! They could go in a cardboard sleeve!

I have swapped my plastic straws to paper straws to be more environmentally friendly after seeing all those harrowing news reports regarding plastics and recycling issues. These straws are great! They work just as good as plastic straws and it just makes me feel so much better knowing that i am doing something to help the environment opposed to adding to the damage. They are strong and withstand a lot of drinking before they start to go soft. I also like the different colours and pattern that makes them look really retro. Would recommend. Everyone should start using paper straws now!

Product itself is fine.. did not expect paper straws to turn up wrapped up In quite that much plastic! Other paper straws I’ve bought have arrived in a light cardboard box... somewhat defeats the purpose of aiming for a paper over plastic product?

Completely as expected. Annoyed that they come wrapped in plastic and hope that the whole industry moves away from this and moves to something more sustainable, as I guess that is the point of people ordering paper straws in the first place.

Good quality straws at a reasonable price, however it’s unfortunate that a “green” product such as paper straws comes in plastic wrapping. A bit more thought needs to be it into the packaging.

Came very quickly, just as described. They come in a box, with 25 of each colour in a plastic wallet which each have a label on the front. All the colours are very vibrant and as in the picture. I'm using these for a craft project so can't say anything about how they would hold up in a drink, but they seem alot stronger than other that I have brought from stores.All in all, the description and pictures are what you get and I'm very happy them. Will order them again.
