My son uses this styling powder every single day, and it has easily become his absolute go-to product for getting his hair sorted in the morning. However, because the actual performance is so brilliant and it doesn't leave any sticky residue, we keep buying it. Highly recommended for daily styling!

This volumising powder is actually really good, I have shorter fine hair and I add this powder to my roots and then swish it about a bit so it sticks itself to more of the hair, It actually does make my hair feel and look like it has more volume... you don't need a lot of powder each time and I do finish off with a bit or hairspray. It holds the volume for the rest of the day and if you just give your hair a little plump up it just adds to the volume again. The is no smell and no greasiness and it will go in any hair type, I have used other powders and so far I seem to like this one more than others.

This was my first try at hair powder and I love it! It helps to add volume to my thinning hair and holds my style very well, without any greasiness. Easily washes out too. I’ll be buying again

Good cheap Volume power, however, I have thin hair that gets greasy after a day. My old volume powered would absorb this and help me go 2+ days without needing to wash my hair. This powder doesn't do this at all. So unfortunately it's no use to me. I'll be going back to Gorilla volume powder.

I have replaced dry shampoo with this powder for my curly hair. My hair loves it. I have very long 2b/2c hair and once I've used this on refresh days / greasy days, this has really helped keep my volume. Dry shampoo just doesn't hit the same. I haven't noticed a smell when using it. You do need to wash your hands after handling it as it gets instantly sticky to initially apply but once rubbed in you dont notice. It doesn't make my hair darker or matte it just fades in perfectly and no white residue. I would say it lasts all day even with other curly products in. Deff recommend

Cons: - Can feel tacky if over-applied. - Needs a good wash to fully remove. Overall, a great little product that really helped bring this hairstyle to life. I have thin Asian hair that’s been getting finer once I entered my early to mid 40s. I wash 2–3 times a week, and this powder really helps add grit and volume at the roots. It’s super strong — you only need a tiny bit sprinkled right at the roots and then worked in with your fingertips. If you use too much, it can feel heavy or tacky, so less is definitely more. Compared to other texturizing powders I’ve used (like Powder Play, which usually costs $20–24 for the same size, and the pump used to get clogged), this is a fantastic value. It gives my flat, slippery strands that extra lift they desperately need without breaking the bank. One thing to know: because it’s so powerful, I sometimes need to double or even triple-shampoo to get it all out, especially if I’ve layered it on (I’ve tried various shampoos so will see if a better clarifying shampoo will do the trick). Not a dealbreaker for me — the volume boost is worth the extra rinse — but something to keep in mind. I also keep Acure dry shampoo around when my hair gets greasy but i dont need grit and more product on it. ✅ Bottom line: If you have fine, thinning hair (especially Asian hair like mine that tends to go flat easily), this is an affordable product that really works. Start small — a little goes a long way! Already ordered my 3rd bottle and it won’t be my last.
