There was a connector for joining in the pack I received no need to get anything extra.

You cut though the middle of the copper contacts. Simple solder your wires from the transformer to the contacts.

Hi I'm wanting to use this in a space without power, is it possible to connect to a battery pack and do you sell them?

Hi yes these strip lights are 12 volt so can be used with a 12 volt battery pack, but depending on how many led's you are planning on using is how fast the drain on your battery pack will be, and they are very bright, it might be an idea to buy the remote dimmer system aswell, so you can dim the lights to help control power drain, and i'm sorry but i don't sell these, hope this helps you,
