Does exactly what you’d expect, just hides all your cables and makes everything look way cleaner! I’ve been using it on my desk setup and it makes a big difference! Build quality is decent and it feels solid enough once everything’s inside, nothing feels flimsy or cheap. Only thing I’d say is check the size, if you’ve got a lot of plugs it can get a bit tight depending on your setup! I have a 4 socket extension plug & it just about fits! Overall though it’s a really simple way to tidy things up and make your setup look a lot better without doing much.

Bought this one to tidy up two extensions behind my TV corner, and it looks and works great! Ordered it through Amazon Warehouse, and it was in pretty much new condition without needing to wait months for a "new" one to come through. Much bigger than I was expecting when it came through, but it has swallowed both my 6 gang and 4 gang extensions in one, so now I don't need to purchase the smaller one. Came through with fast Prime delivery too which was a bonus. Will probably modify it in future using a 'cone bit' to add some extra holes to make some of the cables relax a bit more, but other than that a fantastic solution to any home with a media centre. Have a look at the pictures for the before/after! 10/10

Does exactly what it is meant to do. My extension lead sits inside neatly with no more ugly plugs and tangled cables on show. It. Akes the whole setup looks tidier straight away! Pair it with cable tidies and it'll look mint. Simple idea, well made, makes a big improvement if you hate visible cables. Box is a bit stiff to take the lid off. I would worry about breaking a clip, maybe it's just me. But I guess you'd hardly be opening it. Will be buying again for other room.

I bought 4 of these in total, one by Orico, which I rated 3 stars, due to various drawbacks and 2 by Allibert, which I think best, but only come in one colour (white with grey lid). This is slightly cheaper than the Orico and the Allibert, at least in white, and I got a Warehouse deal on a white one. I bought the Orico because I wanted black originally and thought it a rip-off to charge more for other colours - I know this is another seller, but I think these are already over-priced as it is, and £12.99 is simply more than I'm willing to pay. Unlike the Orico, this at least has a lid that clicks firmly into place and is reasonably child and pet-proof, and there are ventilation holes in the lid, although the Allibert boxes have slats on the raised bottom, which is far more efficient in terms of ventilation. The tiny holes in the lid on this are more like decoration than proper ventilation. Am not sure how necessary ventilation is, but would think that without, these could potentially be a fire-hazard, as some plugs can get quite hot. This is slightly larger than the Orico, it is 32.2 cms long at longest point on outside (see below for explanation of the 28.5 cm length in product description) and 12 cm wide on outside, although there is a raised edge around the bottom seen from inside, so the actual space inside is only 28.5 cm long and 9 cm wide on the bottom (although the plugs can extend the full width of the box, as they'll be high enough to be above the raised edge), and it's 11 cm high without the lid, which is 3 mm thick around the edge (on the inside, there is a plastic frame, which extends further down into the box). The bottom is flat, and there are no rubber feet, as are on the Orico, to stop it sliding around on a smooth surface. There are 3 openings through which to let the cables out, 2 nearly at the ends are 7.5 cm high (with the lid on) and 2 cm wide, and the opening in the middle is 3.5 cm high and 7.5 cm wide. It is large enough for a 4-way extension lead, but if you have large plugs extending on both sides, it is a bit of a squeeze. The plug for my router is quite large and faces the opposite way from the rest of the plugs, and that extension lead only just fits. I don't think the openings for the cables are ideally placed: the ones on the side mean you have to bend the cable on the extension lead, and from any plugs in it, round to the side, and the one in the middle can only be used for the cables coming from the middle 2 plugs, unless you again bend the cable round. While cables bend easily, you're bending them right at the plug to get them through the holes, which is not ideal (the Orico has the same problem, but more so). Generally speaking, I think all these boxes very over-priced, for a plastic box with a lid and a few openings. Half the price would be about right, in my view. The Allibert boxes (they do a square one and a rectangular one) are superior to both the Orico and to these, I think, due to the slatted bottom and the fact that the cables go through holes in the bottom at the sides. The only drawback with that is that you can't just lift the whole extension lead out, without unplugging it and feeding the cables back through, which you can with this one. Overall, this is ok, but not really worth the price and not as well thought out as it could've been. I would possibly buy it again, but probably not for the full price, and am certainly not paying an extra £3 for the black version, which is the colour I'd prefer.

It works as intended, but the plastic could be sturdier it feels a little cheap and flimsy. It’s a bit tricky to fit a lot of cables, especially with an extension lead in there and it can be hard to close securely as it keeps popping open. But it looks neat and tidied up my tv area.

Sie hat sich als perfekte Lösung erwiesen, um unordentliche Kabel und Steckdosenleisten zuverlässig zu verstecken und den Arbeitsplatz viel aufgeräumter wirken zu lassen. INTRODUZIONE Non è la prima - e probabilmente neppure l'ultima - scatola raccogli cavi che compro. Ne ho già in uso tre, oltre questa. Ho scelto di comprare questa, di cui parliamo, dopo averne già presa una simile, di dimensione leggermente più contenuta. Le altre, invece, sono di diversa tipologia, ma torniamo a noi e parliamo di lei. PRIMO CONTATTO La scatola porta cavi arriva semplicemente confezionata in pellicola di plastica ed un foglietto illustrativo. Stop, ma non serve altro! Basta scartarla, aprirle e inserire al suo interno i cavi. Le dimensioni sembrano notevoli, ma ragionando in termini di capienza all'interno di questa possiamo inserire (comodamente) una ciabatta da circa sei posizioni (superiori). Se utilizziamo una ciabatta con ingressi su tre lati, una soltanto è obbligatoria a saturare lo spazio. Se la ciabatta ha solo ingressi superiori potremmo anche inserirne due. C'è spazio sufficiente, comunque - almeno con una ciabatta - per i cavi un po' troppo lunghi e per eventuali trasformatori (come quelli del PC). Il materiale, plastico, è leggero ma non troppo scadente al tatto. Non da, ecco, la prima impressione di solidità estrema, ma di leggerezza e minimalismo. E' comunque perfetta per assolvere il suo ruolo. E' bianca, quindi ragionare sul dove sarà posizionata per non dare troppo nell'occhio è quasi necessario. CONCLUSIONI Per la tipologia di prodotto di cui parliamo, posso dire che non sarà certo deludente. E' piacevole, tondeggiante, ben rifinita, capiente. Solida il giusto, comoda da posizionare dove desideriamo. Consigliata.
