Spot on. Comfortable, size is perfect, cuts out noise just as the spec sheet specifies. Absolutely valuable for money. Designed so well. This is the same one u see being used by the airports as well, so ur ears are protected.

Bought these to replace my black/red ones which I wear for SantaPod. Wanted the bright green ones for a while & they finally got discounted! They are great ear defender, reduce the noise brilliantly but you can still hear what is going on. They fit my small head perfectly, so really pleased with them. The colour is really bright and loud, which is what I wanted. They are super comfy to wear for long periods of time if needed, great value for money especially as they were discounted, but if you were looking for great ear protection but wanted something bright, I would highly recommend!

Work on an oil tanker and these ear defenders blow away any of the other ones we have on board. All vessels I have been on have the Optime brands so they must be doing something right for their price point. Only drawback is that the “hygiene kits” which are the replacement pads are quite expensive for what they are which drops a star.

Adjusting these is a little awkward, and I found I had to bend them back a bit so they'd fit my big head, but other than this these are excellent. I had the 3M foldable ones before and the noise reduction wasn't as good, and they weren't very comfortable. These are soft and comfy, and muffle noises very well - it's makes my washing machine sound much quieter and also less annoying. The earmuffs also feel more roomy, so good for bigger ears. Glad I bought these.

As a sufferer of tinnitus it’s a must have. I go to a noisy Church every Sunday and it saves my hearing from getting even worse

Durable and good performing ear defenders, been used for work 5-6 days a week over 1 year and still good. Dropped on the floor a few times(≤ 5) and no noticeable damage, only once it felt like noise attenuation in left ear wasn't working anymore but nudged it a few times and adjusted the cup over my ear, something clicked and it worked again. The deep ear cups help against heat and if you're so inclined ear buds fit inside, although comfort may vary. Probably should had bought a hygiene kit 3-6 months ago but that's still good value if you're using it for work and better care can be taken at home to avoid replacement. Still can hear people talking if that's a requirement but going forward they will be replaced by 3M Peltor X5A, at least for home use.

Acheté à la lecture des avis précédents que je confirme: Amortissement exceptionnel des bruits environnants, le casque, certes volumineux mais d'un maintien parfait (ne glisse pas), est léger, ne comprime pas les oreilles, bien toléré sur une longue période de travail. Le système de maintien par la nuque permet de porter un couvre-chef. L'arceau rigide sur les casques traditionnels est remplacé sur le casque reçu par 2 lanières textiles avec velcro qui permettent éventuellement de le maintenir selon la méthode traditionnelle ( Cet accessoire ne figure ni dans le descriptif ni sur la photo). Un produit ultra-performant pour un coût modique.

Produit de très bonne qualité ,atténue le bruit des machines de façon optimale . Pour les hommes qui en on marre de se faire saouler par leur femme, fonctionne très bien aussi

The reason for purchasing this earmuff hearing protection was for comfort and decibel rating. I wear hearing aids so wearing in ear hearing protection would not work for me. Looking at all the available earmuff type hearing protection the 3M Optima III had the best rating. Unfortunately they are not available in North America. I believe they don’t meet the safety standards for working on a job site because they restrict your hearing too much. These muffs are perfect for me. I am retired and spend five hours a day in my woodwork shop running very load tools. Table saws, routers, jointers and thickness planers. I wanted the best protection I could find.

Uso estos cascos para estudiar y reducen casi totalmente el ruido y el sonido ambiente que puedas tener a tu alrededor, dependiendo de lo cerca que esté la fuente del ruido y de la potencia del mismo. Como ya he leído en otras reseñas, no es un aislante total de ruido, sino unos cascos de cancelación de ruido, es decir, se va a escuchar siempre algo de fondo si tienes la fuente del ruido muy cerca. Por ejemplo, si 2 personas se ponen a hablar en un tono normal al lado tuya, se va a escuchar obviamente, aunque más atenuado, pero si esas mismas personas se ponen a hablar a cierta distancia, no escucharemos nada. Lo mismo pasa si en la casa o el piso de al lado ponen música un poco alta, tampoco la escucharíamos si no está muy fuerte y cerca nuestra. En mi caso, los uso en una biblioteca y no se escuchan los sonidos como el de las personas hablando en voz baja entre ellas, ruidos al mover bolígrafos, lápices y hojas, o el del aire acondicionado, por ejemplo. Cuando estudio en la habitación de mi casa, no escucho al resto de las personas hablar, la música de fuera, ni el ruido de los muebles, electrodomésticos, aspiradoras, etc. La única desventaja que destaco es que, al cabo de un buen rato con los cascos puestos, pueden resultar molestos, ya que aprietan un poco. Por último, en cuanto al precio, los cascos me costaron 29,68€, el cual me parece un buen precio en relación con la calidad del producto. En particular, lo recomiento bastante para estudiar y, en general, para otras actividades con mucho ruido, como un campo de tiro con pistolas, uso de maquinaria en obras o fábricas, que hagan mucho ruido, o trabajos en aeropuertos o aeródromos cerca de aviones, por ejemplo.
