November 2017 Edit:I had a very kind email from the seller of this product asking me to try another pair of these hair straighteners, just to check if I had had a faulty pair or not (I think they were!). It's nice to know that their customer care is proactive in resolving any problems!Second Test:Pros: Look pretty (pink!), lightweight, have a closure lock and leave hair straight and smooth.Cons: Curved back so don't sit securely on a surface, not the best for use when curling hair (curls drop relatively quickly even on highest heat).First Pair:They went straight (har..har) back I bought them because they were pretty pink and I just needed a new set of decent straighteners.I use straighteners to curl the hair (my current ones on 170-80, last 2 days). I used these on the highest heat to curl the hair and the curls had fallen out within half an hour. Heat was not consistent, funny smell and strange noise. Not keen to go near this brand again regardless of colour!

I purchased these Lee Stafford straighteners after my much loved GHDs decided to break on me. Although I was on the look out for another pair of GHDs, I came across these at a good sale price and I was certainly drawn to the next day, free delivery! Although Lee Stafford was not a brand that I had used previously, I can happily say that I am over the moon with my purchase. And I'm pleased to say that they are far better than my previous GHDs (and at a much more reasonable price too!) ☺️

These straighteners are the best I have ever owned. The temperature you set them at can be locked in while they are in use. This means there is no way you can accidentally alter the temperature while using them. You can also lock the tongues closed when not in use. These are 2 fantastic features. They also look and feel really expensive. I was so lucky to get them at the reduced price.

I thought id try this on special offer, sadly , for me .... it was a no no and i returned !!To begin with, it looks really cheap, theres no getting around this, the plastic looks like cheap plastic, it feels light, and tbh id be worried about how long it would last and how safe it would be !!i plugged it in, and it barely got hot !! i could put my fingers near the plates ,,, and if you have had a ghd set, ud know this would be impossible !!I think in this case, its safe to say you get what you pay for ....save more pennies and get some GHD ones !!

The customer service aspect of this product was perfect - it arrived promptly and I received several emails from the customer service team just letting me know that they hope I liked the straighteners and if there was anything they could help me with to get in touch.The straighteners look lovely and everything came with the product as I expected.BUT they feel quite cheaply made, which I was willing to look past as I love a good bargain, however they just don't work on my hair. They only go up to 200degrees, which I hoped would be okay but for someone with incredibly thick hair like myself it just doesn't work. I can get the ends of my hair to straighten, but it never works on the root and after several attempts I just give up. The straightness doesn't last and I find the coconut oil actually makes my hair look a little greasy.I hate giving a negative review like this, especially as the customer service team were so lovely, but I would only recommend this product if you have thin hair.

I have used the straighteners twice and I love them! They make my hair so smooth and shiny with the infused coconut oil and are so quick to use. I have long hair and it only takes me around 10 minutes to have perfectly straight hair. Really good to be able to control the temperature and quick to heat up and be able to switch off without having to take the plug out. Also switches off itself after a while if they have been left on. Would definitely recommend these straighteners and wouldn’t use any others!

I have fine hair and lots off it, other straighteners seem to fry and make my hair dry, but these leave it shiny and soft, love the fact you have a lock button on them that keeps them turned on, and at the same heat level, they heat up quickly would definitley recommend.

These straighteners are brilliant , they condition your hair as they straighten, they are a lovely pink colour and very lightweight... the best thing for me is they seem better than ghd,s , they straighten my hair really well , I'm over the moon with them, the variable temperature control is excellent, and displays temperature through window on front , you can't go wrong for this price
