Honestly, this is much better than I thought it would be. I can't really fault it. I bought one to stick on the back of my monitor for a 'glow' effect. Just to get a rough estimate of size, my monitor is 24" and it went along the back just a few inches short each side. The lighting from this little strip is amazing! Even in a well lit room, it can reflect the light brilliantly against my wall. I have mine set to stay blue as it matches my colour scheme, but (using the little buttons), you can choose still colours, flashing mode, colour cycle and I believe there is more. It would have been nice to include a manual with theses, just to help as it was a good few minuets of trial and error to see what each button did.Though its mainly good, there was a few issues I ran into. Firstly, the USB is really, really short. This is fine if used on a TV/monitor with built-in, powered, USB ports, but I bought a cheap USB extension cable so that it could be used with a USB wall plug. The second thing is that the controls are too close to the strip. As can be seen in one of the attached images, I had to celetape it down as it kept pulling the adhesive strip off the back. This can be fixed down with some form of tape, double sided would probably be the best. Both easily, and cheaply, overcome.I'd recommend this to anyone really. It can make even boring areas interesting. It looks really cool and I actually found it helped with eye-strain when using my monitor in the dark! I can't speak for how long it will last as I've only had it a few days, but I will update this review with any changes.

These mood light strips are amazing for just about anywhere in your home that you want to add feature to, being on a strip they are flexible and can literally bring light and make any area of the home even more beautiful.My son ordered quite a few strips of these for his room as he has a very nice gaming pc set up, the lighting on his pc set up is mainly blue and he wanted mood lighting to match, we was over the moon when these arrived as they were so easy to set up, and so easy to stick exactly where you wanted them.myself and my son put these strips on the back of his TV, so mood light is behind it shining up onto the ceiling, he put a strip under his desk of his pc set up and one on top of the desk sort of behind his monitor, he is now after more strips to finish things ofThe possibilities of where you put these are endless, and the brilliant thing with being a flexible strip is they can even go around corners making them ideal for behind computer desks or TV units.They work perfectly with little hassle, they give off vibrant but very relaxing colours and slowly fade from one into another, very cool for any teens bedroom or even the living room as I must confess to buying more for behind our TV down stairs, they arrived well packaged andquickly and over all i was very pleased with every part of our transaction.Thank you for reading my review I hope it helps and I'm always happy to answer question or help where I can.

I have been using this strip light for almost 2 weeks now to light my PC keyboard, which is on a sliding drawer inside my desk, and it works perfectly. The lightstrip was easily cut to length and the adhesive backing has stuck very well to the underside of the desktop.I have even pulled it off and re-positioned it 2 - 3 times myself while I was trying to find the best position for it initially, but once I had decided on it's final placing it has remained in place. The strip itself does get very, very slightly warm with use but nothing which would interfere with even it's own adhesive - I have had it lit up all day and evening without it getting more than lukewarm.Switching between colours & brightness is very simple using the 3 button control pad. The lights can also be set to flash at different speeds/frequencies which is also set by the control pad. The only downside for me is the lack of an On/Off switch to allow me to have the computer on during the day without the lights. This is only a very minor problem as I can just unplug the USB plug from the USB extension I have it connected to at the side of the desk and I have already ordered a switched USB extension to solve that.This lightstrip is a great piece of kit with 101 uses and great value for money. I'm gonna buy a couple more as I have some great ideas for Halloween displays.

I've bought two of these last week, i cleaned the back of my TV using some Iso Propyl Alcohol to ensure there was silicone or anything else that would stop the strip sticking. Affixed the first and noted the adhesive tape was black and worked like a dream, I opened the second packet and noted the adhesive on the back of the light strip was this time was clear double sided tape stuck and this initally stuck but after a while with the LEDs on full brightness the heat generated caused the tape to loosen its grip. The LEDs are not the brightest, but thats partly to do with the 500mA limit on the USB port on my TV. Going to buy a 3rd and hopefully it will have the black based tape. The controller has many many fuctions and is controlled by 3 tactile buttons. It powers back up on the last mode/colour/brightness selected so if youre like me, powering the strip off a USB port on the TV it turns off with the TV and comes back on with the same colour with the TV
