What is the width between the bars? 0.5?

i would say about half an inch maybe a little less , but on back side of top there is a larger opening which i didn,t think birds would be able to escape through ,i got tape and covered opening from back

Would this be a good cage for two cockatiels? They will be coming from the same clutch.

I have my 2 cockatiels in this cage, and they love it! I also have multiple perches besides the 2 that come with the cage, plus toys, a swing, a millet holder, and cuttlebone holder. There is plenty of room ni the cage for them and everything else in there. I like the cage very much. The only complaint I have is that the door is difficult to open since there is no knob or handle to grab to open it, and the sliding doors for the food and water cups stick a bit, but that may loosen up with more use.
