BABESIDE 16 Inch Silicone Baby Doll Weighted 4LB, Lifelike Newborn Dolls

Absolutely stunning! The perfect size for my four-year-old but probably would be a great size for older children as well. It has a lot of weight because it’s made out of 100% silicone, so it “feels” like a real baby when you are holding her. For example- If you are not supporting her head, her head will fall back. Same when you are holding her, you need to tuck her arms in and support her legs, otherwise her legs and arms will fall to the side. My daughter is absolutely obsessed with her! We’ve tried other baby dolls with the soft bodies, but my daughter’s eyes light up with this one. In fact, she has most enjoyed putting her baby in the water to take a bath. We do not scrub her because I am worried about Paint coming off, but we haven’t had to worry about that YET. We take gentle baths with the baby and so far so good. Yes, hair will stick to the baby, but my daughter does not notice at all! One thing I will point out is someone mentioned preemie clothes are a good fit but I did not have that same experience. In fact, I would instead find 16 inch doll clothes because the preemie clothes were too big.

Absolutely beautiful!! The doll flops as a real baby would when held unsupported! My 8-year-old loves this doll so much she would not put it down! Only con is the baby does get sticky and collect every hair and dust it comes into contact with. This is easily corrected with baby powder or cornstarch but it is a frequent issue and not really realistic for younger kids to tend to regularly. This is the only doll I would want as an adult because it is so amazingly life like. I purchased a smaller generic (non life like) doll of the same material so my daughter could get used to caring for the dolls material before I give her this particularly beautiful one and slightly (non durable) fragile doll. My husband was astonished at the realism in feel, texture, visual appeal, and weight of this life like baby doll. Highly recommend for older kids and ADULTS— This is the only doll, I as an adult, would want when I have baby fever… The only single thing I am unhappy with is that I ordered a 16 inch doll and as you can see in the last photo she is more like 12 inches. I don’t know how they measure these dolls (like stretching them or something but that is the only criticism I can possibly find. I had to go back and make sure I ordered the 16 inches one because she seemed more like 12 or 14 inches instead of the 16 inch doll I ordered. If I choose to order another Im not really sure what size to order now because of the variation in measurements they come in and the true to size they are…

This is the most beautiful doll we have ever received from Amazon. I have had so many returns because the dolls were not like the pictures but this doll is above and beyond the description, but it’s perfect. It’s exactly like the picture. It’s soft silicone and it’s heavy like a baby and its head moves all over and it’s one continuous body. It doesn’t have any seams or anything. it’s just an absolute beautiful doll. I would recommend it to anyone.

She's so cute but she looks smaller than 16 inches

She is just beautiful. My granddaughter loved her. She is very lifelike and so worth the money. A cheap plastic doll verses a lifelike feel of a real baby made me purchase this for her. The excitement on her face when she opened her gift and she realized she got a reborn babydoll made my day. You have to make sure you have some cornstarch on hand to prevent the stickiness. But helps her have some responsibility to take care of things. I’m very happy with my purchase. No regrets.

When the doll first arrived it looked great. The only thing we noticed that wasn't great was a small hole/ dimple on the top of the head where it looks like they filled the mold. A hat easily covers this. Within a couple of days the paint on the head and face started to wear off. The doll no longer has the painted on hair, and most of the face paint is worn off. Other than that, we are pleased with the quality of the doll. We like the weight of the doll which makes it feel more real. The doll fits size PREEMIE diapers and clothes. We have had several comments from people thinking the doll is a real baby. I do wish the doll was a little bit cheaper considering the paint wears off so soon.

Very pretty doll, just a little smaller than expected. Definitely cannot wear preemie clothes. Otherwise, I was very pleased with it.

My 8-year old daughter received this for Christmas and is OBSESSED. It is high quality silicone and looks and feels real. The doll is accurately described: it fits 16 inch doll clothes and weighs about 4 pounds. I have held other dolls that are larger and weigh about 8 pounds, but I prefer this one to be honest. It is the perfect size and weight for my daughter to carry around. The silicone can pick up hair and dirt easily, but it is easy to clean off—I just rinse the doll under the sink with cool water and immediately dry her off with a no-lint towel. The doll came with instructions for care, and we have just have to remind my daughter not to pull on her legs/arms or have short objects around her. I’m okay with giving those directions though—this baby moves around and feels so realistic that I just tell my daughter to treat her like a real baby because she certainly feels like one! Overall, I am so incredibly happy with the quality, detail, and description of this doll.
