Toshiba by Kioxia 64 GB TransMemory U401 USB2 Metal

It's been a long time since I bought a new USB drive- I had so many and they last a long time. So when I opened this I thought they'd sent me a USB3, it's so tiny! But no, fortunately, it is as it said, a USB 2.My main system is Linux and occasionally a big name drive will be utterly useless but this worked fine straight away. I added a few files, deleted a few and tried a number of actions to ensure it is working and everything is fine.It looks snazzy, it works. Little else could be required. It listed as a 64 gig drive with >57 usable space so there are absolutely no complaints.

Its a flash drive so you know what it does. Metal version has a very solid look and feel to it, about half the size of a key works straight out the packet with good write speeds when copying file.. No problem recommending this product.

Good tiny unit that looks good too. Works perfect my college needs. Does get a bit warm though - guess 'cause its metal. Other than that though - no issues.

Good price for a lot of storage, yes it's not as quick as USB 3.0 but it's not one, it's a USB 2.0, and clearly states it is just that. Neat, fits well on a keyring, robust and installed fine on everything I've put it into.

This USB Flash Drive is very slow at copying data over too! I needed to back up 52Gbs of data and it took approximately nine hours to complete this. I had to abort copying on the first occasion due to how long it was taking? I restarted copying over the next morning and it took until the evening time before it finally finished. I don't know if this is normal, but I feel that it shouldn't take this long?It's a solid and well made little USB Flash Drive, but it's just really slow at copying stuff too and from?

You never know when you're going to need a USB and this one is perfect to have on my car keys. I can finally rest easy at night again!

Very sturdy/strong usb stick with lots of storage space. I bought a metal one as my previous plastic usb stick’s attachment thingy snapped off. This is definitely going to last the distance! Very pleased!

Quería darle 5 estrellas de verdad, pero para lo que cuesta el acabado me ha decepcionado un poco, traía un par de puntitos que no sé si son arañazos de fabricación o restos de la pintura. Y al insertarlo queda arañado a causa de su particular diseño. He de admitir que soy exigente y que a otros les dará igual estos defectillos.Dicho esto es cierto que da sensación de robustez y que tiene buen tacto. Además es muy pequeñito, es mono. Y funciona a la perfección.

Ho scelto questo pen drive dopo aver navigato parecchio per informarmi bene sugli standard che potevano soddisfare le mie esigenze e ho scelto questo! Al di là delle caratteristiche tecniche che tutti possiamo confrontare, due sono le ragioni principali della scelta: capacità (avevo bisogno di pen drive in grado di contenere molti documenti di lavoro pesanti, per lo più pdf e foto) e principalmente robustezza. La cosa che ho apprezzato di più è proprio il fatto che questo pen drive abbia un corpo unico interamente in metallo (non sia, cioè, composto da una parte in plastica ed una in metallo) robusto e capace di sopportare spostamenti, urti e frequenti inserimenti.
