Crucial RAM CT51264BF160B 4GB DDR3 1600 MHz CL11 Laptop Memory , Green

This memory was well packaged in a sturdy plasic housing that was easy to open. I purchased this RAM as an upgrade for my Asustor AS5002T NAS which came with just 1 GB pre installed. As usual with Crucial it arrived quickley and fitted easily with no problems, and my NAS immediately saw the 4GB on powering up. Be advised that you cannot leave the supplied 1GB chip in the first slot and add this chip to the second slot as the chips have to be matching pairs. The max total being 8 GB ie 4GB in each Memory slot. Slot one must be occupied. The memory chips are aligned by the cut out slot in the connectors and inserted into the socket at an angle lifting vertically as they are pushed in and engaging with the holding clips into the notches you can see on either side of the board. If you are uncertain there are plenty of clips on You Tube showing the method. Memory is susceptable to static so only hold by the edges and touch any earthed metal before starting especially if you have a nylon carpet etc. Once you have inserted the memory and powered up your equipment should start its power up sequence. If it hangs you have a problem with the memory, it is either incompatible, faulty or not inserted correctly. Try powering off and re-inserting it before going further. I had no problems with this Crucial memory, it looks well made and is functioning fine. As the price is reasonable I highly recommend it.

After purchasing many Crucial products in the past, this one lives to it's name. Crucial has been known for reliability and value and it certainly shows in this product. The 4GB DDR3 Laptop RAM has been working for around 1-2 months after purchasing and has increased productivity on my laptop by at least 50%. The RAM itself is very easy to install but you must be aware of the specifications of your laptop first before purchasing. These include: Slots available RAM speed RAM type Whilst the RAM works at incredible speeds and providing 4GB extra is fantastic, Crucial offers a Lifetime warranty on this product, so there is no need to worry about the product failing. I installed this into my Acer Aspire E1-571 and it instantly solved many of my issues such as lag when opening multiple programs, multi-tasking lag issues and video editing. It runs hot but cool enough to not overheat and is a fantastic addition to a machine that needs that slight boost. Finally, if your looking for some RAM for a laptop that is affordable, reliable and with great customer service... then this is the memory you are looking for.

its very great value for money , instead i buy new laptop i kept mine old Hp and just upgraded to make it faster. Just make sure before u buy that u are able to dissassemble your device first to check the RAM slots you have inside and what RAM capacity you need. my mistake was i relied on Crucial website to scan my HP and advice for extra RAM i need , unfortunately they advised for 4 RAM which i already have 2 chips 8 RAMs inside , i had to cancel and reorder the 16 RAM instead .

I could not really tell you if this is excellent but I will say that it has done wonders in breathing new life into an old laptop. Of course, any other brand might have done the same and worked just as well/fast and I did pay a bit more for the Crucial brand but I think with something like this you need reliability - you don't want to be in the middle of something important and have your computer stop working. So my experience so far is good but you will have to decide for yourself if something cheaper would have worked just as well. Personally, the extra amount paid for the make is worth the peace of mind in knowing I have a product made by a company that has a reputation for quality.

Added this to a Toshiba laptop that only had 4GB of RAM in it. It greatly improves performance and makes a big difference to general usage. In case you weren't sure why RAM makes a computer faster, technically it doesn't actually do that. Think of RAM as being a desk. The bigger the desk the more files you can have out on it at the same time. A smaller desk means having to put files away in order to get more files out far more often. That takes up a lot of the other computer's resources. As with any RAM upgrade make sure you have a free slot and can access it. Make sure you are buying the right RAM as there are many different variants.

I bought this as a ram upgrade for an old laptop and it has done exactly what I expected. The ram will make your system more stable if you experience slowdowns, paired with a crucial SSD it transformed the laptop to better than it was out the factory. When installing it may require some force if the port has not been used before (but be careful), a quick look on youtube will show you how to install the ram. Great product, would recommend as a cost effective upgrade that will give the laptop some of its former glory as well as giving it the ability to handle more.

Product was exactly what I was expecting and it arrived promptly. It was fairly easy to put into my laptop, although I had to push it in further that I thought before pushing it down to clip in. If you're unsure on how to do this there's loads of videos on YouTube of it. The RAM worked perfectly with my Sony Vaio VPCEH1L8E running on Ubuntu OS. For those looking to speed up their laptop, RAM won't make things speed up, it'll just stop them from slowing down. I have noticed having the same number of programmes and Chrome tabs open as before and my laptop no longer slows down. If you're looking to have your laptop run faster then this might not be the addition you need. Look into an SSD replacement for your hard drive or CPU over clock, although this is never advised for laptops due to overheating issues.

2 x Crucial CT51264BF160B Arbeitsspeicher 4GB (1600MHz, CL11, 204-polig) DDR3L-RAM Habe für meinen Intel BB NUC5i5RYH Rock Canyon i5 High Desktop-PC (Intel Core-i5 5250U, 2,7GHz, kein Betriebssystem) neuen Arbeitsspeicher benötigt, da in diesem Rechner nur DDR3L-Module mit 1,35V verwendet werden können. Es war also nicht möglich bereits vorhandene SO-DIMMs, die mit minimal 1,5V arbeiten, weiter zu nutzen. Nach etwas Recherche bezüglich Preis-Leistung und aktuellen Anforderungen, habe ich mich für Crucials CT51264BF160B entschieden. Bei der Gelegenheit wurden gleich zwei Module bestellt, um auch den Dual-Channel-Modus des NUC-Boards nutzen zu können. Erst im Dual-Channel-Modus kann die volle Leistungsfähigkeit des Arbeitsspeichers an sich, als auch der integrierten Intel-Grafik HD 6000, die im Shared-Memory-Verfahren auf den Arbeitsspeicher zurückgreifen muss, abgerufen werden. Der Leistungs-Unterschied zwischen Single- und Dual-Channel-Betrieb liegt je nach Szenario in etwa bei 30%. Habe beide Module direkt einem Speichertest unterzogen, den beide Module anstandslos bestanden haben. Dieser ist vor allem dann wichtig, wenn man vor hat Linux als Betriebssystem zu nutzen, da hier RAM-Fehler nicht ganz so einfach verziehen werden, wie unter Windows. Ebenfalls problemlos verlief ein Stresstest mit Prime95, bei dem ich die vollen 8GB RAM ausgelastet habe. Von der Performance her sind es zwar nicht die derzeit schnellsten Module, der Aufpreis für die etwas schnellere Alternative mit 1866 Mhz war mir persönlich aber derzeit zu happig. Das Timing wurde vom Board direkt korrekt erkannt (CL11). Die Gesamtspeicherleistung beträgt nach SiSoft Sandra 13,54 GB/s unter Windows 8.1. Beim Windows 7 Leistungsindex wird ein Wert von 7,5 erzielt. Geekbench 3.0 32bit (2 x 4 GB) Speichertest: 2037 Punkte (Single), 2547 Punkte (Multi) Geekbench 3.0 32bit (1 x 4 GB) Speichertest: 1849 Punkte (Single), 1880 Punkte (Multi) Unigine Valley Basic Setting: 10,7 fps (1 x 4 GB), 14 fps (2 x 4 GB) Fazit Crucials CT51264BF160B mit 4 GB funktionieren bei mir anstandslos und liefern eine ordentliche Performance ab. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis (26 Euro zum Kaufzeitpunkt bei Amazon) finde ich derzeit klasse. Empfehlenswert!

Why laptop manufacturers sell laptops with only 4GB of RAM is beyond me. These systems will be disk swapping nonstop (verrry slowly). 8GB isn't perfect but much more manageable in terms of performance. Installation is straight forward and was completed in about 1 minute.

前にSSD買って騙されたから不安だったけど，ちゃんと増設出来てよかった。

Mon ASUS série K55VJ a retrouvé une nouvelle vie ou presque grâce à l'ajout de cette carte. Initialement je n'avais qu'une seule carte de 4Go de Ram et mon PC a commencé à devenir lent puis très lent pendant certaines périodes de navigation. Après investigation j'ai constaté que ma mémoire RAM était régulièrement consommée à plus 80% voir 90% et des pointes à 100% quand Firefox tourne à plein régime. J'ai donc entrepris d'acheter une carte compatible et après recherche sur plusieurs sites, il s'est avéré que cette carte était compatible. Acheté, insérée (pensez à redémarrer le PC une seconde fois si jamais car la carte n'a pas été reconnu au premier redémarrage). Et la surprise! Mon PC ne rame plus, mes applications dont Firefox s'ouvrent beaucoup plus vite et supportent beaucoup mieux la charge. PS : Attention quand vous achetez une nouvelle carte mémoire, il faut bien vérifier sa fréquence avant l'achat. Plus la fréquences est grande, plus la vitesse de la carte mémoire est rapide et donc la carte est performance, notamment pour le gaming. Rien ne sert d’opter pour une carte mémoire dotée d’une fréquence supérieure à celle que peuvent gérer la carte-mère et le processeur. C’est cette information qui doit déterminer la fréquence de la barrette de mémoire. Et si vous achetez une seconde barrette pour PC mais que celles-ci sont de 2 fréquences différentes, c'est la fréquence et donc la vitesse la plus faible des 2 barrettes qui sera utilisée ! Donc pensez à acheter une carte ayant au minimum une fréquence identique à votre carte actuelle. Il faut aussi savoir Il faut savoir qu’une mémoire dotée d’une fréquence supérieure à celle gérée par la carte mère fonctionnera à la vitesse gérée par la carte-mère (pas plus!), cependant l’ordinateur sera susceptible de rencontrer des soucis d’instabilité. Voilà vous êtes averti. Le logiciel CPU-Z permet d'obtenir cette information de la carte mère et pleins d'autres informations sur le PC d'ailleurs.

Llego el día indicado, bien empaquetado y embalado. Para la conexión de la memoria no tuve ningún problema y al encenderlo el PC lo reconoció y se instaló solo, sin ejecutar nada. Se nota que el portátil va más rápido y ya lo puedo utilizar, ya que antes tardaba más de media hora en encender para ser utilizado e iba muy lento. Ahora tarda unos 3 minutos en encender y se puede utilizar normalmente.
