Mustard NG1702 USB Cup Mug Warmer Coaster - Dark Brown Hot Cookie

I was a little concerned about the negative reviews but my son was very keen to buy it as a gift for someone so we made the purchase. After having positive feedback from the recipient, he asked for one himself. Yes, its plastic and doesn't look much for the money but it really does work. It does look quite large but it is only the centre section that emits heat. It really does get very hot to the touch although will only keep your drink warm if you follow the instructions. You need a flat-bottomed cup with a diameter that matches the heated inner of the 'coaster'. My son tested it out using a jam-jar lid to melt chocolate! I would recommend.

It gets surprisingly hot for something working off a USB voltage - when fully warmed up I can still touch it without burning myself but I wouldn't want to hold it, so I guess it is probably around 65°C. However, as other reviewers have observed, it doesn't really keep a drink hot - at best, it probably slows down the cooling process... slightly. It would work best on a fully flat-bottom mug, but most mugs are indented underneath. Heck, for under £10, what do you expect? It makes me smile and brightens up my office desk, and for that it's worth the money! (It might even keep my freshly cooked rock cake from the office canteen nice & warm?... I'll try that tomorrow!)

Super cool drinks warmer, make sure your cup has a flat base for maximum contact with the warmer. Plugs into a plug or computer and works great. Such a cool design, like a big oreo

I bought this because I am one of those people who just never finishes a drink - they always go cold before I get there and I was so hoping this would help. It doesn't do anything! The middle bit gets hot enough to singe my finger but not evenly and can only be used on flat-bottom mugs, which all of mine aren't apart from my ceramic one. It didn't even work on that. Not worth the money :(

This warmer is nicely made and looks nice on the desk. It is rather big so it can be used with mugs of different sizes. Unfortunately the mugs I use don't have flat bottoms so as the whole surface to be heated. The drink didn't get cold but it didn't stay warm enough either. Nevertheles it is a smart gadget and I didn't regret buying it.

Brought this for a gift for my mum and she loves it : ) Keeps her tea nice and warm.The only thing I would suggest is to make sure you but something sturdy under the cookie like a coaster.

Bought as a gift, but I had a quick try of it and it seems to work well. Bear in mind though, that it's most efficient when used for cups or mugs with a completely flat base (which is why I bought it to use for a treasured flat tin mug that goes cold too quickly.) I'm guessing it'll do the job really well.

I bought it for the office to keep my hot beverages hot, but it doesn’t really warm it up nor keep it warm. It is good looking but I kinda am desapointed. Plus it makes my desk very hot and i dont think you should let it run when you’re not around, it could burn your desk

The unit itself gets hot, it just doesn't keep the coffee warm, even an empty cup barely gets past room temperature.
