Is there enough space to engrave the back

Yes there's plenty of room to engrave the back case, you have 3cm of clear circle area and its a beautiful and well engineered watch. Enjoy.

Do the hands and face markings glow in the dark so you can see them? And is that also true for the chronograph features?

The hands and the white dots below the numerals all glow and are very visible but as usual without a back light it is only for a short time. The chronograph dials do not illuminate but don't let that put you off. It is a very high quality watch and very attractive, the titanium is heavy and a lovely colour compared to the usual stainless and the engine turning on the rim and the chronograph buttons are of high quality and nice and deep. All in all it is a very nice reliable watch and I would willingly have paid double the price. I hope this has helped you.
