Got this to give granddaughter after her surgery in a few weeks. What happens when you push "try me"?I dont see anything and I want this to work

It is just a way to feel the costume. It does not do anything special.

Is this one of the new cutie dolls (unicorn) ?

The Unicorn is new. It is Wave 2 of the Cutie Reveal series. I think this Wave is called Fantasy

why does is say free prime delivery, and then at checkout have to pay for shipping? I don't need it for christmas day. but no free shipping option.

Not all sellers are connected to prime free shipping which means Amazon fulfills the order. Some sellers do their own fulfillment of orders and they might offer better prices on the items but cannot offer free shipping.
