Can't buy this locally
Usually I make a 50/50 soughdough which have been good using the Doves Farm spelt wholemeal. I bought the 5 bag option and decided to try a fully wholemeal loaf and had a wonderful result. Some customers have complained about the use by date mine have a 6 month span.

Makes very decent organic bread
Had to replace my previous negative review as I'm now having excellent results with this flour (I suspect previous issues were caused by old yeast past its prime). I've ordered a second batch and it has so far made excellent bread. I tend to mix it with about 20% white flour, and use a bread maker. I can't fault the results. And, of course, being organic it's free of pesticides. Nice.

Short expiry date
My flour was delivered today, unfortunately it has a very tight expiry date on it, 4th of August, I'm not sure I will get through it by then. This is my second purchase, the first had over 6 months till expiry so not very happy. I have another delivery of white flour on it's way so hopefully that has a longer date on it. Guess we will be eating a lot of brown bread this month!
