I’ve been using Pitrok deodorant for years and it’s a truly excellent product. I use it because it doesn’t contain harmful ingredients like aluminium. The natural salts hide body odour effectively. It is not an antiperspirant but allows the body to sweat naturally, as it should, without the bad smells! Would not use any other deodorant. Big shame Boots stopped stocking this for some reason so we have to pay more to have it shipped.

I've never really liked the smell of most aerosol deodorants, and found antiperspirants extremely irritating on my skin. After making the switch to natural soaps for shaving (as opposed to the gunk in a can), I found the chemical smell of aerosol deodorants even more objectionable, especially as they generally throw out a cloud of the deodorant, which means you often end up walking through a cloud of it, and quite often end up being able to "taste" it. So the search was on for something more natural and less harmful. Eventually I found PitRok,, and I can say without doubt it is the best deodorant I have ever used. Not only is there no irritation at all, but I can put it on in the morning, and it is still working fine at the end of the day. One foible with PitRok is that it is a liquid mist rather than an aerosol. For me this is great as it is very controllable, but it can give a sensation of wetness for the first 1 or 2 seconds upon applying before it dries quickly. This is the un-scented version of PitRok. I also use the scented version, which is a very nice scent, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't last very long. Therefor I would have no problem picking upeither version version, depending on which was more readily available or cheapest. I also have a PitRok stick deodorant for travelling on airplanes, where the presence of liquids in carry on luggage may be a problem. If the only thing going for PitRok was that it was less toxic for the environment and my skin, it would be a worthy purchase, but the fact it is also the best deodorant I have ever used makes it a no brainer.

The solid stick is much better and lasts for about 12 months. Both work very effectively but this one won’t last long.

I've tried numerous types of Deodorants and they can never be relied on to keep your armpits from sweating and giving off a bad odour. They work for a few hours, but this 'masking' of your sweat eventually starts seeping into your clothes and smelling bad. They also contain Alcohol, which is absorbed into your skin and cannot be good for you. With Antiperspirants, your skin pores are blocked by the Aluminium Chlorohydrate and this has raised many 'health flags' with claims that it can cause, among other diseases, Breast Cancer or progressive dementia leading to Alzheimer's Disease. With PitRok, I just spray a couple of squirts under each armpit, rub it in a little using the 'chicken flapping' technique as described by a guy on YouTube, which spreads it around better. After a couple of minutes, you're good to go. I live on an island in the Mediterranean and here it's almost always very hot. Walking around with Deodorant sprayed under my armpits, it usually only takes a few hours for the sweat to 'conquer' the Deodorant and start spreading onto my under-clothes. With PitRok, just those few sprays and when you do get wet (as you will still get wet - which is a natural process, unlike with Antiperspirants), the mineral salts neutralise the bacteria responsible for the BO and your sweat doesn't smell! All I can say, is that I'll only be using this product from now on and I wish I knew about it from before. It may cost a slight premium, but I think it's worth every penny. Excellent product.

I read a passing mention of using a mineral salt spray as a deodourant, and went looking for more info. Found Pitrok, and thought I'd give it a try. I have always been someone who really *needs* to use deodourant on a daily basis, but I know that a lot of our anti-perspirant deodourants have aluminium and other toxins in them, and it can't be good to be loading ourselves up with these every day. I was a bit sceptical and didn't know what to expect, but I have to say I am really impressed with this product. I got the unscented one, as I am a bit sensitive to scents. And it's actually been quite weird... getting used to my arm pits just not smelling of anything but clean skin!!! Apparently, as long as you wash first, this product stops the development of the bacteria that cause that underarm smell - and I have to say it really does work - it's extremey effective! It's not cheap, but I love it, I like being more natural and not adding chemicals to my body. I think I might try one of the scented ones next, and see how my skin reacts.

This is not a truly natural deodrant spray as advertised, it contains ammonium alum which if you research has aluminium Ammonium Alum is not natural and a lab made chemical. To be honest I should have researched this properly beforehand, but I judged it purely from the first time I used it when I went abroad, in which I bought it in a rush wanting a natural spray. I also took it at face value that it was natural. My girlfriend used it in Zanzibar and complained to me it made her armpits darker, but since I had no issue with it and it seemed to work for decreasing sweat and masking smell, I ignored that and figured it was a better option than anything I've used previously. However, I was just in Thailand for 3 months, bought the sprays and a roll on version with me and it gave me extremely painful sweat rashes/heat rash symptoms on 3 different occasions after a month there. At first I thought it was just because it was so humid, but when I stopped using it the rashes slowly went away over a week and only came back when I used it again. I had to manage it with aloe vera gel and coconut oil. It even made sleeping hard as i could not have my arms down without discomfort and soreness. I have never had rashes under my arm like that or that went from itchy, to a red raw colour and then almost purple. From later research to see what may have caused this, I find that ammonium alum has been shown to clog pores and sweat glands as well as cause skin irritation among other health concerns, possibly this was the cause of what happened to me. My biggest gripe and reason for 1 star now is because this is marketed as a natural deodrant spray and essentially in this case it means SOME ingredients are natural, which I find disingenious. DYOR

Best natural deodorant ever. I've been using this brand since it appeared on the shelves and works beautifully on underarms and feet. You'll not go wrong with this product. Pitrok used to make wipes but I don't think they do any longer which were great for a quick freshen-up.

The only product I have found that does not irritate my skin! I’ve been using it for more than 5 years now...and nothing comes close to it!

Lasts All Day! No perfume to compete with yours. No residue. Dries fast. Great product. Worth the price!

Came open. Package was all messed up and wet. Bottle is mostly empty

The product seemed to work well as always but only lasted 2 weeks with normal use. It felt light on arrival and was certainly not filled correctly. Avoid.
