how many seeds per pack do you get? I honestly just want the jalapeno

Approximately 50 seeds per variety..so about 400 seeds per pack

What is the best way to plant these.....from seed directly, or allow to germinate and transfer the plants?

I germinated some and direct sowed some of each type. They both grew, but the germinated seeds grew quicker.

What's the shelf life of these seeds?

Several years. Seeds in general decrease in germination rate 3-5% per year if stored in a cool dry place...so they will be good for a long time

Can these be grown indoors all year long?

Yes they can..especially hydroponically. Look up the Kratke method specifically. You will need some sort of grow light though because just putting them in a window sill won't be enough light.
