Heats very quickly so not a problem. Loved mine until the non-stick gave up!

Can you make a cheese omelette in this?

Yes I put loads of cheese in my omelettes being a cheese addict. I also put mushrooms tomatoes and ham in as well. You can basically put what you like in it

Can you poach eggs in this?

Yes you can, we have also tried scrambled eggs and omelettes, all very good

Can you make pancake on the item

Just enough room using both halves for a two egg omelette . Would probably make two small pancakes approx 6"x3" each in a half circle shape .
