Ironton 4ft. x 8ft. Steel Folding Utility Trailer Kit - 1170-Lb. Load Capacity

Hard to assemble by myself, but it is doable. Great trailer which I'll haul just two kayaks on. Should last a long time with my use.

Instructions were great. Just a note, the C1 bolts are to be used when the C bolts run out. This is a bolt together kit and the longest pieces are 4' rails.Now I can keep my solar panels in the sun. I also got a trailer dolly so that moving this thing around is a breeze.

I assembled by my self on saw horses. But it was all guess work. You can not print the manual attached to this item on amazon web site. Only missing 2 bolts. My advise either add a manual or let us print one..

Revising review from 1 star to 3. I ask for document with VIN to register with DMV. Finally got the document in today even though I missed my second appt for DMV to register trailer. Atleast they sent it, wasn't sure it was going to happen after last phone call seeing the status of it. Person I spoke to said they never had an issue about this and I couldn't be help. Basically the origin certificate wasn't matching with any invoices it lacked the VIN of the trailer on it bc it was third partied (china). I still have some gripes about the trailer such as it doesn't fit in my garage or enclosed patio the height when folded doesn't clear any garage or door. And instructions were terrible and lights came crushed. I've always liked Northern tool but they need to work on there customer service and researching their products more carefully.

Most of all I like the way it folds up and moves out of the way. It is a bit heavier and more expensive than the competition's trailer, but the heftiness is worth it and they are in stock.

The trailer arrived by shipper and all packages were in good shape. I opened the boxes and all painted metal parts were unprotected and scratched, dinged and chipped. Why paint the trailer parts and then toss them in a box unprotected so they arrive damaged? If I want this trailer to last and not turn into a rusted pile of junk, I now have to repaint the entire trailer. How hard would it be to wrap each part in some plastic or foam protection? I just purchased a 10x 12 metal Gazebo from Sun Joy, and every single part was wrapped in protective plastic, not a single mark was found on any of the parts and there were at least 300 parts. in the case of this trailer, not a single part arrived undamaged. The instructions state the parts were labeled. Not a single part was labeled. As for the instructions, they were so small, and blurry that you cannot make out what part is what, so I had to go on line and find the instructions and print them in a readable size. I think there is a lot of room for improvement.

Great trailer, assembly was fairly easy, all the parts arrived intact. Great customer service as well, I wasn't able to register it right away because the MCO/title wasn't signed and notorized on back, but they were able to put me through to the people who could get me one and recieved it today after a few weeks, and it's what I need! Folds up great, just be careful not to over tighten the bolts on the hinge, or they will bend lol, and also the folding bar, and maybe grease the parts that fold. Also you will have to leave the bolts out of the bottom side of the frame which lays down to fold, otherwise it will not lay all the way down. And the grease that is included in the wheel bearings is fine, and if you need to repack them in the future, there is a grease fitting behind the wheels, just pump the new grease in until the old grease comes out and scrape the old grease out. The tow bar is nice too, you can weld a new coupler in it, if you want a different style, unlike the other styles of folding trailers that don't have the bar and just the A frame. Also make sure you take the paint off of the holes that you use to ground the wires, you want a good ground for the lights to work and be properly grounded. I would also recommend getting some additional clips for the wiring, they sell them on Amazon. Also, one more thing, the manual shows the bolts that hold the trailer halves together show them on the sides, above the axles, however, the holes are not drilled, but you can use the three holes on each side (6 bolts) where the frames go together, it works just fine. And you could drill the hole out if you wanted to use the carriage bolts too.

Very nice trailer . Went together easy, lights seem to be water proof so far since I use it as a boat trailer as well as a utility trailer. Folds up easy and since I've dealt with northern before I can say they went above and beyond to fix an issue I had with a hydraulic press I bought once that had missing parts durIng to shipping. My trailer was perfect on arrival though. Great company to deal with.
