The wire on the top arrived gold even though picture does show gold pin but silver wire on top ☹️

Q: What type of clip is this? Sprung or kirby?

I would class this as a hair ‘pin’. (Not a kirby grip and not sure what you call sprung one as I haven’t heard the term before). I style bridal hair and this is a very easy just “slide” in/push in pin into any type of hairdo. It’s very lightweight and easy to work with it. I actually prefer these types of pins as opposed to let’s say combs (those can be heavy and ruin the updo structure wise and/or not hold well in fine hair). And Kirby grip style accessories are sometimes harder to attach as a decoration subject because they are holding hair, tighter “grip”. Hope this helps. Marci
