Fit good to size marked, comfortable walking shoe
At first these didn't quite feel right BUT after a 2 mile walk hey presto very comfy and cosy in the cold weather. I like them, not into big names unless they deserve it on performance and quality, so these suit me well. Good value, quality is good, the sizing seems spot on for me albeit I prefer wider sizes in shoes. Not had a chance to check them out for waterproofing or longevity but no reason to doubt it given my usage so far.A good buy.

Precision fit and great value for money
Comfortable and a perfect fit. Wanted something that was light at foot, but strong. This was a trial buy to ascertain if the size would go right bathe experience of getting to the shop and trying it on. But it did not take a moment more for me to get that smile back. A very good buy at the prize mentioned and with the exact right fit. I have to give a week to find out if the comfort sticks on after regular use. For now , I am a happy customer.

Good fit and easy walking
The boots are a comfortable fit, easy to get on and off, and a reasonable price

Kind to my feet and great Value
These Hi-Tec Boots are extremely comfortable. They are similar to the boot that I have had for 6 years. These are tough: indeed are still undamaged and good for years. They have been worn in all sorts of terrain. Sprayed with water-repellant they kept dry. But like all walking boots they now look grubby. So the new ones are for indoors and outdoor social events. They are more like trainers than boots, so look smart. The price is very reasonable. So in all, super value.

Very comfortable, leaks like a seive
Pros: Very comfortable, great fit, lightweight, sole does not easily slip. very cheap.Cons: Leaks like a seive from side and top, rain, puddles, long grass etc., so only useful in dry weather.Sole fairly thin so you feel rough stones through the sole.Stitching comes apart after 6 months or so.Exceedingly long laces which have to be triple or quadruple tied as the shoes wear.SUMMARY: You get what you pay for. Only any good in the dry. If they had better water resistance I would buy again and throw away within a year because these are the most comfortable trainers I have ever had. After I had these these I bought the "waterproof" version which was £20 more hoping it would be waterproof, it was a bit better for about three weeks at the top of the shoe (more rain resistant) then after 3 weeks gradually became just as bad as these. "Waterproof" ones definitely NOT recommended.

Nice shoe, good quality.
A nice pair of shoes but doesn't claim to be waterproof like the Hi-Tec Penrith (it seems). Overall, my own personal taste goes for the Hi-Tec Penrith which have a slightly nicer design yet have previously proven to be very good value, lasting longer than more expensive brands. I seen no reason why these shoes would not be any less solid. It may be of interest to note that I have previously been a bit of a brand snob. The price quality ratio of Hi-Tec however is making me increasingly loyal to Hi-Tec. Their CSR programme to help protect the Rhino is no bad thing either !

yes they are not as good but for half the price they are just what ...
Bought these to replace a pair of Merrell shoes, yes they are not as good but for half the price they are just what I wanted. Ideal and very comfortable for walks around country parks and just been worn for a 3 day trip to Paris where I walked about 10 miles per day with no problems. If you are looking for shoes to walk in the dales, Lake District etc. the soles on these are too thin and would not support your feet enough. They are good for the price.

Reliable and comfortable
These are my every day shoes. Occasionally I have to buy a slightly different shoe due to product refresh, but I've been wearing these shoes for at least a decade.I swap out the inner-soles for ones with more arch support and I swap out the laces for elastic because I'm lazy. I wear them to destruction, which usually works out at about a year. I average slightly over 5km walking per day across an entire year. So nearly 2000km per pair.
