PREMIER SEEDS DIRECT ALF01 - Organic Sprouting Seeds - Alfalfa - 40 GM

These seeds start off quickly and produce delicious crunchy sprouts. The company literature gives reassurance with regard to their hygiene practices, which are crucial especially for sprouting seeds.

I bought the Fenugreek, Broccoli and Alfalfa sprouting seeds which came in no time at all. Each pack contains enough seeds for about three sprouting preparations based on the 'planting' guidelines (1.5 tablespoon of seeds) that come with my germinating glass pots.I am impressed with the ease of preparing them for sprouting and with how quickly they do sprout - I noticed little sprouts coming through after only two hours of soaking them (for four hours). I have enough for one or two meals after each sprouting period.I expect to be buying fewer vegetables and eating more sprouts like theses though I am not sure I'll want to try the Fenugreek again - it is not to my taste.The only thing missing from the packets are instructions for planting (they are part of the description on Amazon) so if you have not got instructions already, you'll need to try the internet for the preparation procedures.

These are so easy to grow and very flavourful, will hopefully be buying more. harvested as sprouts after 6 days

Sprouted these in a standard jar with a piece of muslin over the top.....all sprouted fine - I will be buying these again. A great way to get your organically grown vitamins, minerals, enzymes, etc ALL YEAR round for very little expense AND even if you have no garden!
