I bought this rather than renting it as it worked out cheaper. We watch Elf every single year around Christmas time so it made sense to invest in it. It was actually on offer at the time so this was a great buy for us.It is a lovely Christmas story great for kids and adults. I love snuggling up with this feel good film. Matching pyjamas, projector, lots of treats and popcorn and a laugh with my family. I look forward to it every year.

Buddy, a human who was raised by elves at the North Pole, is the protagonist of the iconic holiday movie Elf. Buddy sets out on a voyage to New York City after learning that he is not, in fact, an elf in order to discover his true identity and get in touch with his human father.The film stars Will Ferrell as Buddy and is directed by Jon Favreau. It features a talented supporting cast, including James Caan, Bob Newhart, and Zooey Deschanel.Ferrell's portrayal as Buddy is among the movie's shining points. He gives a lot of heart to the job, and his passion and youthful curiosity are contagious. As Buddy's estranged father, Caan in particular gives a standout performance among the supporting cast, which is also excellent.With complex sets and costumes that help to properly realise the North Pole's universe, the movie's production design is of the highest calibre. With many catchy one-liners and entertaining set pieces, the script is creative and funny.Elf is an endearing holiday movie that will undoubtedly make you smile. It's a sweet, endearing story that is ideal for the whole family.

Me and my other half religiously watch this at Christmas. Never gets old.Would recommend.

Who doesn't love buddy the elf. Great Christmas feels for me. Watch every year. Definitely one of my all time favourites.

Great Christmas film, we've watched it with our kids more times than I can remember.

One of the best Christmas movies I have watched.

It's the wifes favourite Xmas film, and for good reason! Will Ferrell at his best, and the Xmas cheer is clear throughout, so even a self confessed Scrooge like me had to smile and laugh. It's a shame that Prime Video charge you for this as in other years I'm almost certain it was included but still worth it.
