Lovely to practice with

Looks good, well made, good size.

Handle is very sturdy and has plenty of room for different grip styles. Has diamond grip on the side of the handle but not all around. has a lanyard hole. The front Quillion/Guard is okay. Blade is sturdy but does have a slight “give” to it so when you do score a successful “hit” it doesn’t hurt nearly as much as a wooden/hard-plastic alternative. However it is not very bendy. Which is outstanding. This is exactly what is says it is, a Bowie training knife. However…it is pricey on here and can be found for around £3 cheaper, but prime delivery evens it out to a certain extend. Would I recommend this as a training knife to others? Disregarding the price difference…YES. Just make sure your LDE has the same reach.
