Hush 7 Pairs Plugz Silicone Earplugs - Pack of 7

Best earplugs I've ever tried. I used these at uni when I had noisy flatmates. I tried wax ones, foam ones, even those expensive loop ones, and these were by far the best. I could sometimes get away using the same ones two nights in a row, and you have to shape/size them to your ear - I used about 3/4 of one of the balls in each ear.

These are the earplugs I always buy. They are the best ones for swimming, they block out all water, and I also use them to block out all background noise when needed, eg. on the bus. They mould to ur ear hole. I tear them in half for size, one half in each ear. I can use them a few times before throwing out. I never sleep with them in. I think they’d be too warm.

Much better than wax earplugs as they mould more naturally to the ear and offer a tighter seal. They are extremely effective in cutting noise - proof being that I live near train tracks and have terrible neighbours upstairs, and they cut both off. Excellent value for money, especially when bought in bulk, which is what you should do if you use them constantly and need to replace a pair every few days. Small but useful extra is that they come in a nice casing which closes nicely so you can keep the earplugs right by the bed without dust getting in. One star off simply cos they are not perfect e.g. if you accidentally drop one they collect fluff easily and you can't really clean that off, so you have to replace. Overall probably best value you can get - certainly of the different ones I've tried.

I have been suffering from poor sleep for a while and had previously tried foam-type earplugs which I found to be reasonably effective but not very comfortable to sleep with them in. The Silicon Ear Plugz from Hush seemed to offer a different option so I initially purchased the smallest pack that they produce which is 7 pairs. They arrived in a cardboard container however the Ear Plugz within came secure in a nice plastic case. The instructions for use are on the cardboard packaging, very straightforward. Take one of the 14 individual pieces and work it gently between your fingers until the heat softens the silicon, then put the pliable ball of silicon in your ear hole and push in until it is positioned so as to be an effective noise barrier and comfortable to wear. The first night I used them I had 7 hours of solid sleep! which was fantastic. I was blanketed in virtual silence yet I heard my alarm clock go off, mutedly. And I have a buzzer on my door entry system that would wake the dead which I also heard. Now this may have been due to my not following the instructions precisely. They warn against splitting a single piece of silicon which is what I did. and was left with 2 good sized pieces which fit easily, were very comfortable and blocked most of the noise I needed to have muted. And most importantly the Plugz never disappeared down into my ear canal and were easily retrievable. I am sure my ear holes are perfectly average? In conclusion there are simply no negatives to these Silicon Ear Plugs from HUSH, everything was positive and a thoroughly pleasant and very effective experience. Been using them for years, will be using them for as as I have ears and they keep making them! Each pair lasts me between 5 and 10 days, I need my ears cleaned every couple of months as wearing ear plugs every night causes ear wax build up. If you need ear plugs that work and last, go for it, you won't be disappointed, I've used them for years and never had a problem batch.

Needed these to block out distant traffic noise and the dog's snoring as I am a light sleeper, I wouldn't recommend these ear plugs for blocking out loud snoring in the same room though as I can still hear the dog snoring in her bed! As for comfort, easy to mould but I have nearly lost one in my ear canal and a couple of them have been stuck fast in my hair in the morning which is very inconvenient and messy! I would probably try another brand next time as I still find myself waking to noise from the dog snoring her head off!

These little gadgets are extremely useful because they are always some noisy neighbors or noisy foxes are something that's going to disturb your sleep or if you like to read as I do I don't like to hear noises so I find this particular type of earplugs made of silicone and I always mainly use silicone but this particular package is very handy because it contains a lot and you get a lot for the price in comparison to when you go to the pharmacy you get a lot and they are very useful especially for a good night sleep thank you

Great. Had to share a room with a light snorer and they did the job. Keep them in my travel bag just in case.
