Brilliant product, excellently priced.
I was extremely impressed with this product. Ordered as all my brushes were in dire need of a thorough clean and I'm not a fan of using baby shampoo as it never seems to clean as thoroughly as i'd like. This product was the top of my Amazon search list and for £5 I didn't mind buying on a whim to try it out.And I am so glad I did. I used this the day it arrived to clean all my brushes. It is incredible. With powder brushes such as those used for blush and bronzer I just ran them under the warm tap to dampen them, put a couple of drops of brush cleaner in to a high sided tray and swirled my brushes in to the product. Afterwards I rinsed once again and on the first squeeze of the bristles all the powder residue came out of the brushes and in to my hands and I just rinsed it away. Afterwards I rinsed the brushes thoroughly as this is an oily consistency and left them to air dry. When dried they felt soft and nourished and looked brand new with no trace of colour staining at all. I'm really impressed. The only downside to this product is I found when using the same method to clean my foundation brushes, because the brush and product were both quite oily I struggled to rinse the product fully out of the brushes. The foundation brushes I use are really dense so this would have taken me a while but all I did in this instance was use the product to release majority of the make up, then simply added some baby shampoo to my hand, swirled the brush and rinsed and it was clean, no problem.Overall I think if you're in the market for a new brush cleaner definitely give this one a go. It's excellent value for money, I barely used any to clean about 15 brushes and saves so much time. It also nourishes the brushes and removes stains that baby shampoo leaves behind. I will definitely repurchase.

Great product
Very happy with this brush cleaner. Especially on my foundation brushes it does SUCH a better job than any previous brush shampoo (or conventional shampoo/baby shampoo) and really gives a fabulous deep clean. I strongly recommend this to anyone for use once a week on at least your foundation brush for proper hygiene as I was a wee bit shocked at the difference it makes! Also makes the bristles feel lovely, pliable, smooth and better than new again.A few notes regarding some criticisms I've seen here in the reviews:*It will leave a greasy film on the brush if it's not rinsed out properly. This cleaner is designed to be used and then MUST be rinsed out thoroughly. You absolutely cannot leave it in. Perhaps this is also a cause of damage.*Do not leave your brushes to soak in it for an extended period of time. Don't fill up a cup and set the brushes down for a few hours. Again, I imagine this could cause damage.*I use a few drops on an old saucer and work the brush in it till it's clean. A few drops will easily clean all of my eye brushes, but powder brushes soak up a bit more of the cleaner and will absorb up a few drops on their own. I tend to shampoo my blush and powder brushes then just give them a treatment with this cleaner once every 2 weeks for a really good cleanse.Overall one bottle lasted me for about 2 months, using it 2-3 times a week on eye brushes (about 6) and 2-3 times a week on my foundation & concealer brush. As above, only every 2 weeks for my 4 denser brushes. But I think for £5, this is still pretty decent value and I wouldn't want to be without it now. It does a way better job than previous products I've tried. Finally I must add that I only use cruelty free synthetic brushes, no real fur/hair. My review should therefore be considered potentially unreliable for non-synthetics, e.g. most MAC brushes etc.

Handy Product
This Brush cleaner is really useful if you want to clean your brushes quickly. As soon as you put the brushes in the solution you can see the make up fall off instantly.I usually leave the brushes in for 15 minutes as directed on the bottle and then wash them in soap afterwards to remove any residue of make up. This is necessary as the brush cleaner does not remove all make up and it leave a strong, chemical smell is not washed afterwards.Overall, a handy product - I just wish there was more product than you get as you can get through a bottle very quickly!

Definitely recommend
I bought this a while ago, but didn't use it until I had all of my dirty brushes together in order to clean them all in one go, as you use up a fair amount every time you clean your brushes. The solution is incredibly effective! I was able to clean one of my old brushes which I had to stop using as it was caked with makeup and I couldn't clean it off, and it cleaned it without and effort.I just followed the instructions, soaked them in the solution for about 15-20 mins, then rinsed and left to air dry and they're as good as new, without a doubt. It's also odourless as far as I could tell.Would 100% recommend

worked a treat, but expensive!
The solution worked really well, my makeup brushes have never been this clean! The only complain is that I used the whole bottle my first time. I use quite a lot of brushes (about 15-20) and some I had to double soak which meant by the end of the day I had no make-up remover left.So in conclusion, the product works great but it's such a small bottle it works out a bit too pricey in the long run.

Use sparingly, and carefully for best results.
It is very oily, and has a very strange affect on make-up sponges (think fleshlike make-up goo) but it did the job on my day-to-day make-up brushes. I'd read the reviews carefully before and so took the approach of dripping a 50p sized drop on an old saucer and swirling the brushes in it before rinsing thoroughly. For the larger brushes I used the same technique and then dripped some of the cleaner into the brushes, massaged it through to get to the roots and then rinsed.I cleaned:4 x powder/blusher brushes6 x eye make-up brushes2 x lip brushesAnd used approximately 1/4 of the bottle. I'm really pleased with the purchase and the performance of the product.
