Sci-fi Top Gun fun!
The film was poorly received and not liked by critics but I really enjoyed it. BT's score was probably the main reason I rewatched it so much. His music really gets the pace and action. I don't care that it's all a sci-fi TogGun rip off. A great popcorn film! Love it.

Very underatted movie.
Firstly, i can confirm that this works on UK players, as it works on mine.Regarding the movie itself, personally i love it. It's a shame they don't make more movies like this if i am honest..

Certainly action packed
Some very realistic scenes let down by some that were not so good though the CG was very clever. Weak story line that struggled with the dramatisation and whilst similar to Firefox in some ways it did not match up to it unfortunately. Good to watch if you accept it for what it is.

I love this movie and the Fictional Aircraft used in it
I love this movie and the Fictional Aircraft used in it , Although I've always wanted to be a Fighter Pilot from A YOUNG AGE when I first saw the F117A Stealth Fighter although its not , its just a subsonic bomber , after watching this, even with Fictional Aircraft it still makes me dream to be a fly boy , those damn aircraft are so quick , deadly , dangerous , who needs Ferrari's when you could possibly one day fly one one of these..... F/A-37 Talons.

For an effects heavy film the Blu-ray is terrible.
For an effects heavy film the Blu-ray is bad, lots of artifacting where the fast moving action is, other films like jaws, the terminator, T2, aliens, John wick have decent rendering but this just seemed a little poor, I've seen rips look better. I'm not going to comment on the film's storyline as to each his own, but I was entertained.

Top Gun² - Dauer-Adrenalindusche

I'm gonna buck the trend here...AWESOME MOVIE!!!
OK, first, a few words to Mr. Ex-8G000. Yes, it's apparent that you're in the military, and we all (I hope) applaud your service. I was never in the military, but I have great respect for it...and its missions, hint...hint. BUT...these are MOVIES...designed to entertain. I don't like what Hollywood does to the military anymore than you do, but what do you expect? I'm a big fan of Black Hawk Down and several of the other great war movies, but some of the military-based movies are just loosely-based on the military and aren't meant to be taken seriously.I am watching Stealth for the first time on DVD and I'm totally blown away by the special effects in this movie. This is the best damn CG I have ever seen. Probably on par with IL&M's work on Star Wars. From the sweeping aerial shots to the seemless panning to the cockpits while in flight, I'm just in awe in how they've captured these visuals on "film".So what's the plot? OK, let's be honest...this ain't Shakespeare, but com'on...we all know it wasn't meant to be. Stealth was meant to be an exciting popcorn flick that brings a mixture of Top Gun, Behind Enemy Lines, and Firefox into the 21st Century. Basically, we have have three hotshot pilots who fly three of the only existing Stealth planes known as "Talons"....only to be surprised by the existance of a new stealth plane that is totally automated. At first the new automated plane has a mind of its own after it's struck by lightning. But during one mission when the perverbial crap hit the fan, it actually comes to the rescue of the only surving Talon pilot in a dogfight against three Su-37 Russian fighters.OK, let's face it folks...today's audience is so demanding today in the digital film age that good special effects aren't enough to win over crowds. Granted, they shouldn't be the only thing, but imagine if this film was made back in the mid-eighties during the Iron Eagle and Top Gun days. It would have set a new standard in film making, and would have been praised for its visuals to this day. But because visuals of this quality are achieved daily in things as simple as TV commercials, we pan these kinds of films for being simplistic and plotless. Well, darn it, at this point who cares? There's always a time to just sit down and watch a good popcorn action flick such as this and enjoy it for what it is. I usually judge movies on the criteria if they entertain me. This movie thoroughly entertained me. I especially liked the fact that they actually use modern day international threats rather than some watered down "Neo-Nazi" threat *cough* "Sum of All Fears" *cough*.I give this movie 5 stars because of its awesome visuals and edge-of-your-seat intensity. Could this movie have used better character development and plot details, well yes, but it'd take a TV series based on this film for that.
