Straight Acrylic Safety Shelf 300mm x100mm, Bathroom, Bedroom, Office, White

Happy with this products, read description and other reviews and got what i expected, shelf that looks like it is glass but isn't. The finish on it is good. It didn't come with screws, as expected but it wasn't problem to find some. Looks good fitted above my cloakroom sink. Good value for money.

Although this shelf looks smaller than it is, it fits perfectly above my tiny handbasin. Looks like real glass too and the brackets are very neat. So far no scratches, but I am being especially careful with what is put on it, I expect it will scratch quite easily but that's the problem with perspex and I knew that when buying it. All in all a very neat looking imitation glass shelf. Quicker than expected delivery too. Would certainly recommend.

Needed to keep the Virgin router away from the floor and the mass of wires etc that I really do need to tidy up sometime.Shelf is an ideal size to hold lightweight items, I would say less than 1 kg and possibly to play on the safe side no more than 0.5 kg so half a bag of sugar, the perspex can take it but you do get weedy screws and 5mm wall plugs only so anything heavier may pull away from the wall.Overall I'm happy with the construction of it and for the price I paid, under £7 then it's cheap enough to take a punt on.

I wanted to fill a space on the wall and this was perfect!I don’t like how glass shelves have that jade tinge to them so I went for the clear option.Thought it was great value and came quicker than expected.I used plasterboard fixing as opposed to the screws that came supplied.Would buy again.

It's a handy shelf for storing toothbrushes etc out of kids reach but it was a green tinted shelf and looks full on green around the edges not clear like the picture shows

It looks like glass, it even feels like glass but it's much lighter and safer than glass. The shelf is about 300mm (12inches) wide and about 100mm (4inches) deep, it also has two rounded (D type) front corners. Being acrylic it is possible to cut the width of this shelf with a wood saw or a hacksaw if it is too large. It is easy to install as just one screw (supplied + wall plug) is needed for each of the two chrome fixings. After fitting these fixings the acrylic shelf is slotted into the fixing and held in place by tightening a grub screw. The back of the shelf sits slightly away from the wall.

The fittings for this item are far too small. None of the conventional screwdrivers fit the slot where the screw has to go. They are also too short to be of any use as the shelf would fall off if any weight were put on it, that’s assuming you could find tools small enough to do it.This needs to be redesigned. So disappointed I returned it.

Presumed this would be machine cut, but looks like its been cut by hand with raised bumped edges.Fixings aren't that good, the brackets are small so cant put in screws of any substance between where the shelf resides, therefore shelf isn't very strong and sags when something is put on it. not usable for our purpose (which was to put on a toothbrush holder for our 4 x electric toothbrushes - so gives you an idea of the strength)definitely not suitable for tiled walls
