We had tried our rescue cat on some individual tins of this from the supermarket before buying as some reviews said that cats could be a little picky with this. I imagine it’s simply because it’s not like your standard icky low percentage meat wet cat food. And most cats are ingrained into this diet, so it’s something very different. Firstly packaging- it’s a small square cardboard box with the boxes of 8 tins packed inside. Very easy to store and keeps everything together. Another major draw for us is that Lily’s kitchen tins and packaging are completely recyclable. Unlike all the millions of cat food pouches other companies still use. The cat food itself is fab. Yes as other people have mentioned it smells a little stronger than other cat foods but I honestly believe it’s bevause it’s full of the good stuff, and much less of the bad. Our cat has tried all the varieties now and loves the lot but I would say hunters hotpot disappears the fastest! The texture of the meals is much nicer than other brands. The price of these is fantastic compared to per portion in the supermarket. Yes it’s more expensive than your standard brands but what you’re getting is 65% real meat and a lot of goodness. And I have to say we’ve noticed the difference, her coat is glossy and soft and she seems much more interested in her food. And I do believe what they say - pay more for food and less for vets bills. All in all I 100% back Lily’s kitchen, not just for their good cat food ingredients but also for their values - recyclable packaging etc. And I know our cat backs them too :) but then she’s totally lead by her stomach!

My cats don’t wolf down all the flavours but it seems to be palatable. Mine prefer this pate style rather than in jelly or in gravy. Easy to open and serve.

Great delivery, looks good, my cats have tried it once, struggled to eat all of it, as there is so much in one tin, but at least they didn’t turn their nose up, pleased with product & quality !!

I tried my new kitten on other well known brand wet food, but she would not eat any. I tried her on Lilly's kitchen and she loves the pate. Easier for her to eat and she is teething.

(This review is for the "Mixed 32 pack.") I always feed my cat a very wide range of different food, I think this way I make sure she has all the nutrients she needs. My wife and I read the labels carefully and only buy cat food that has high percentage of meat/fish and as little as possible sugar. Well, this Lily's food seems to tick the box. Now, the problem is our cat simply dislike it. I got a variety of flavors, none of them being good enough for our 'gourmet stray cat' taste. We have some friends who feed their cat 'Organic Lily's' and we got a few 'fish' samples from them which our cat also arrogantly despised. We're keeping the food stored and will try it again in winter (2018/2019) and see if the season makes these flavors more appealing to our cat. So, what 'cat food' does our cat like? The Swedish brand "Bozita"... boy doesn't she 'binge eat' it all no matter the flavor... So, why do l give Lily's Kitchen 3 stars? Well, I wanted to leave 'neutral feedback,' that's hopefully 3 stars. According to the information provided in the label this food should be quite good; however, our cat dislikes it to the point of approaching to it, smelling it from the distance and staying away from it like the plague (let alone the 'lamb' flavor... With that one she leaves the house only to come back the following day... even when raining...). This is quite surprising as she pretty much likes and eats everything, from raw eggs to feta cheese so it surely does not serve its purpose for now (we'll see in winter). (I can see some cat owners panicking because I feed my cat raw eggs and feta cheese from time to time... It must be because I hate her deeply and can't wait to get rid of her, right? My mother had 2 cats who lived 21 and 22 years... Maybe a varied diet isn't that bad after all.) On a side note, I have the feeling Lily's Kitchen targets more the owner (with those fancy names for the flavors and nice cover designs) than the cat itself. As ever, YMMV and 'YCMMV' ;-) I'll update this review if anything changes.

I bought these because I was trying to cut down on the amount of waste we produce as a household. The pouches I was using before meant 60 pouches were having to be specially recycled (there are drop off points available online) which is a significant hassle when you can get packaged cat food, like these tins that can be recycled. The food isn't cheap, but the ingredients are much better quality than the standard food. I've obviously not tried them but I've given them 4/5 as the cat seems to love them however she rarely finishes a whole portion - she's small so that may be her issue rather than the portions being too large. The smell of the food is quite strong though so it's best to feed the cat where the smell won't spread.

Unfortunately, this food did not suit the cat in my care. I had heard good things about the product so wanted to try it, however, noticed the smell is quite strong. Following the first tin she had an upset stomach. I wasn’t sure if this was coincidence. So after a few days back on the previous food I tried Lilly smooth pate again, a little bit added to her usual food, and again she had problems. I tried it on three more occasions gradually adding the food , however the outcomes was the same and I also noticed how lethargic the cat was after feeding. It just has not agreed with her.

Da mein sich Kater von dem ganzen Supermarktgelumpe stetig vermehrt übergeben hat, musste also das Futter umgestellt werden. Habe viel probiert, bin zuletzt bei diesem hängen geblieben, dank Spar-Abo auch zu einem akzeptablen Preis. Natürlich ist es nicht super easy, eine Katze die nur zucker- und getreidehaltiges Futter gewohnt ist (siehe 0815 Futter aus dem Supermarkt) plötzlich von heut auf morgen an gesundes Futter zu gewöhnen. (Ein Mensch der nur Fast Food isst, möchte auch nicht plötzlich nur noch Salat essen ;)) daher Geduld! Die negativen Bewertungen sind daher meiner Meinung nach nicht gerechtfertigt. Mein Kater liebt es mittlerweile und frisst nichts anderes mehr, verträgt es auch sehr gut. 😊

My cat likes the food and it seems decent, but there are these very hard pieces that I keep finding, like bone or stone. Idk if this is normal but it does not look edible. I will not repurchase because of this.

La composition naturelle est un vrai point fort, avec des ingrédients simples et de qualité, ce qui est rassurant pour l’alimentation quotidienne de l’animal. La texture moelleuse est agréable et semble très appétente. Mon animal a accepté le produit immédiatement, ce qui est un excellent indicateur de qualité. La recette paraît savoureuse et bien équilibrée. Les barquettes sont pratiques à utiliser et permettent un service facile, sans préparation supplémentaire. Le format est adapté pour un repas complet ou pour compléter une alimentation sèche. J’apprécie particulièrement l’approche naturelle de la marque, qui met en avant des ingrédients soigneusement sélectionnés. Cela correspond à une alimentation plus transparente et adaptée aux besoins des animaux. En résumé, il s’agit d’une pâtée de qualité, appétente et pratique, idéale pour les propriétaires recherchant une alimentation naturelle et équilibrée.

Tra i vari cibi umidi provati nel tempo, questa multiconfezione di paté vellutato di Lily’s Kitchen è una di quelle che riesce a trovare un equilibrio molto riuscito tra qualità degli ingredienti, composizione pulita e praticità quotidiana. La confezione da 32 vaschette è comoda soprattutto per chi ha uno o più gatti abituati a mangiare umido ogni giorno, perché permette di avere una buona scorta senza dover continuamente riordinare. La prima cosa che colpisce è la consistenza del paté: davvero soffice, cremosa e omogenea. Non è il classico umido troppo compatto o gelatinato che alcuni gatti finiscono per lasciare nella ciotola dopo pochi bocconi. Qui la texture è molto morbida e facile da mangiare anche per gatti più selettivi, sterilizzati o semplicemente abituati a consistenze delicate. Nel mio caso è stato apprezzato subito, soprattutto il gusto pollo con tonno, che ha un profumo più invitante rispetto a molti altri alimenti umidi della stessa fascia. Dal punto di vista degli ingredienti si percepisce la filosofia del marchio: carne preparata al momento, frattaglie e pesce ben integrati nella ricetta, senza farine di carne e senza quella sensazione “artificiale” che spesso si nota aprendo prodotti economici. Anche l’assenza di cereali e zuccheri aggiunti è un aspetto che personalmente considero importante, soprattutto per un’alimentazione quotidiana più pulita e digeribile. Pur essendo grain free, il prodotto rimane equilibrato e completo dal punto di vista nutrizionale per gatti adulti. Molto apprezzata anche la scelta di proporre gusti semplici e non troppo “carichi”. Alcuni cibi umidi puntano su aromi fortissimi per aumentare l’appetibilità, ma alla lunga possono stancare il gatto o risultare pesanti. Qui invece il profumo è presente ma naturale, e il fatto che il paté resti umido senza diventare acquoso aiuta parecchio anche nei periodi più caldi, quando molti gatti tendono a mangiare meno. Le vaschette sono pratiche da aprire, ben porzionate e permettono di servire il pasto velocemente senza sprechi. Inoltre il prodotto non lascia quella fastidiosa patina oleosa nella ciotola che capita con alcuni umidi più grassi o di qualità inferiore. Anche dopo diverse settimane di utilizzo non ho notato cali di appetibilità, che è uno dei problemi più comuni quando si acquista una multipack grande. Altro dettaglio positivo è che, pur essendo un alimento premium, non punta tutto solo sul marketing “naturale”, ma offre davvero una composizione curata e coerente con quanto dichiarato. Lily’s Kitchen inoltre presta attenzione anche alla sostenibilità e all’approccio produttivo, cosa che oggi molti proprietari di animali tengono giustamente in considerazione. Non è probabilmente il prodotto più economico sul mercato, ma considerando qualità generale, ingredienti utilizzati, assenza di cereali e risposta del gatto, il rapporto tra prezzo e resa rimane assolutamente valido. È uno di quei cibi umidi che si acquistano volentieri perché si ha la sensazione concreta di dare qualcosa di buono e ben fatto ogni giorno.
