Hi ya, just to say although it’s biodegradable this is to help it break down in landfill. Councils are clear that waste like urine shouldn’t go in the compost as it contaminated it. It also makes it a health hazard for all the people who work in that supply chain. I phoned and asked them when I started to use the product. I just put it in my normal bin in biodegradable poop bags and I know will break down in the landfill. Just bare in mind that once a batch of compost is contaminated they bin the whole lot!

Hi, I had a good look all over the bag and as far as I can see, the litter is made only from reclaimed timber, no trees are felled in the making of it. It states just natural wood pellets, I can't see any chemicals or additives. The litter is good at containing odours, I used a different one before and I could always smell when the tray had been used. I hope this is of help to you !!

My cat also has asthma and he's fine with this litter. Not powdery at all.

Q: Does it have a strong smell? We have tried a few different cat litters and our cat will reject anything which is too dusty or too smelly.

Not dusty in the slightest (when cats had peed on it - it crumbles to finer grains but still not dusty). Its got a very light smell of pine but more just a slight fresh smell - it certainly doesnt smell chemically or anything - my new kitten has no problem with it at all.
