Great mouthguard.Instructions for moulding looked quite complicated, but worked perfectly when following the guide in the packaging.Gumshield fits perfectly and doesn't fall out. No discomfort or rubbing. Despite having a small-ish jaw (I am a 5'3 female), did not need to trim this mouthguard down.Feels adequate for protecting my teeth during playing roller derby.Also came with a case, which is handy for keeping it in my kit bag.

Buying these online is a bit of a minefield for a newbie like me, but we needed one urgently after being informed my son was starting hockey at school in two days! He'd tried a cheaper version before and it was a problem, so we went for this one as it has gel that shapes to the teeth. He also has slightly protruding front teeth, so we had been worried nothing would fit. This shaped nicely to his mouth and stayed in played as comfortably as can be expected, so he's happy. He's a smallish 11 year old, and we'd ordered 'Junior' size, then worried at how small it looked when it arrived, plus the fact it states 10 years and under on the packaging. However, it fit well once it was pliable. I would recommend this one as an affordable and comfortable mouthguard.

I bought this for my 9 year old son who plays rugby. His mouth size is nothing unusual but the Opro (9-adult) guards just don't fit. They're too large. No matter what we try, he struggles to keep them in when playing and they didn't live up to expectations. Instead we've had a Shock Doctor (junior) for the past season and was very happy with it, given no boiling required - it just slotted over his teeth and was comfy. I grew a little cautious of how much protection this was affording him and, upon reading the reviews here, took the plunge on this unknown-to-me make. Very happy I did.There's no way the junior size would fit up to an 11 year old in my opinion but it will certainly do him for the rest of this season and then we'll be back for the adult size. The instructions actually feel like the 'soak' time is right, and for once we saw a tooth imprint in the guard (in the gel). After cooling it stayed in place and he's happy with the comfort. 5/5 and thanks to those that reviewed this product; especially those who commented as to the other guards they had but couldn't get on with. It made me have confidence to try this make and it worked out!

My son is 8 and just about to start contact rugby - I investigated the pros and cons of getting a gum shield fitted by a dentist v an off the shelf item. I decided against the former primarily because being so young his teeth will be changing quite regularly and I didn't want to be going back to get it refitted especially given the high cost to get made in the first place ( @ £60 ).I didn't buy the Makura for any other reason than I deliberately chose an item towards the upper end of the cost scale. Having done that I would recommend to anyone. The instructions were really easy to follow. It took two goes and now fits well. Having survived a week of rugby camp, i'm confident it will work fine for the season ahead.If there was a criticism it would be that the colours are the wrong way round and it should be orange on the outside for more of an effect.

Easy to fit snug fit, stopped my teeth being knocked out

Wasn't sure about this when I got it out of the box - seemed like it might be too small and too sharp and I was worried I'd made a poor choice. However, after following the instructions on molding it, it's an absolutely perfect fit.Goes all the way to my molars (where it has extra thickness to soften the impact of biting down suddenly) but without going so far as to make me gag. Holding it's shape too.No weird taste.Even looks alright (which doesn't really matter, but it's nice not to have some stupidly aggressive one that implies you're trying to make up for a lack of ability with a flash mouthguard... simple is good)

Die Qualität des Mundschutzes ist ok jedoch nicht so bequem zu tragen von daher nur 3 Sterne.Es erfüllt jedoch das was es soll nämlich die Zähne im Mund zu behalten:D

Prodotto di buona fattura, arrivato nei tempi previsti. Dopo averlo modellato aderisce perfettamente alla dentatura e, personalmente, non mi dà problemi di respirazione e non scende quando si apre la bocca. Per modellarlo consiglio di seguire alla lettera i tempi descritti per le varie fasi. Complessivamente acquisto più che buono

Heureusement que ce protège-dents existe, après la perte de deux protège-dents dans l'eau chaude (même en suivant scrupuleusement la notice), celui-là a résisté à cette épreuve.

No estaba seguro de como iba a ser el producto pero se ajusta muy bien, teniendo en cuenta que hay que seguir las instrucciones de amoldamiento, ya que si no se siguen, seguramente no sea un buen producto.
