Carp-Corner Tent Bivouac Pegs with Bag 10x

These Tent Pegs arrived well packaged in a plastic bag. The Bag Contained 1x Nylon Carrying Pouch, 10x Tent Pegs I'm relatively new to camping, I did it in my youth and rediscovered it last year after a 30 year break. I've got a tent that suits me fine, but it only came with the standard tent pegs that everything seems to come with. They were fine for my first jaunt out, but a recent trip to Shell Island in Wales would have been a different matter. Luckily I'd read reviews and a friend lent me his set of these. The ground at Shell Island was full of rocks and shale which my original pegs wouldn't have stood a chance with. These however (Along with a large claw hammer) didn't flinch, If it hit a rock, give it a welly with the hammer and the rock lost the fight. I had issues with virtually every peg placed, yet they all went in, and even in horrendous weather conditions (I lost a very expensive windbreak as the wind was that bad it snapped the metal poles holding it up, but these pegs stayed in place), not a single peg came loose. The large plastic handle made them very easy to retrieve, and the carrying pouch is perfect for throwing in with the tent (Unlike others that have solid cases). I've now returned my borrowed ones and bought two sets of my own in preparation for the coming Summers trips.

I was surprised at the weight and sturdiness of these pegs, very strong, you would need to be hitting them into some seriously rocky ground to bend them! The plastic peg grips are robust and look built to last and should make removal a lot easier. The twisted metal pegs look of good quality and should resist rust. The bag supplied will keep any dirt contained and stop them from getting lost. Another quality ngt product.

Really good and very sharp

I used these to tether a garden feature which was getting battered by the wind. They were easy to screw in to the stony ground and are sturdy enough to have stood the test of time.

Have ordered before - very solid, and easy to remove when necessary. I'm only ordering more because I put the last lot "somewhere safe"!
