I think you want to know how to install the guide comb. Follow this: position the guide comb of the size you need, aligning the gibbous spot and the slot. Push up the guide comb to slot them together, with a sound of click,the guide comb was installed well.

Q: Do they make any noise at all if so how much?

A tiny bit but it's not very noticeable. They do pull the hair quite harshly on the longest clippers so I have only used them for about 2 seconds and it made my baby cry...and he never cries so it must have hurt.

Not only suitable for babies, but also for children under 12 years of age.

Q: My boy as high sensory problems he is 6years old are these quiet? And works well?

These clippers are very quiet, a lot quieter than the usual ones, my son doesn't like any clippers, but have found these ones to be the best , makes life a bit easier!! Would recommend. Hope it helps !
