Sturdy and an obvious deterrent. A bit fiddly, at first, until you get used to fitting it; once you learn, though, it's easy enough.

It's not bad for the price, I brought this for my classic car, it has 13 inch wheels, its not a snug fit but I doubt it could be pulled off easily, its really simple to fit and is definitely a one man job, my only issue is one of preference I would like it to come with at least 3 keys other than that it's well worth the money.

Instructions clear, easy to fit, well packaged. Fits Ford Transit Custom tires well, just needs working under the bodywork but no issue.

I read the reviews before buying and bought anyway, why? Because my insurer insists that a wheel clamp is fitted when the caravan is parked up. NO OTHER REASON. Because quite simply put, this is more of a 'show' deterent. It will absolutely not stop anyone taking your caravan, so if you are buying for actual security - don't! However, if you are buying to 'put somone off' it at least looks like you made some effort. If you have alloy wheels (which I do not), buy an ALCO lock. But for people with steel wheels like me, there is no real choice. BUT here is the kicker. Fiddly to fit is the best way to descibe, but much more fiddly if (like me) you have a motor mover fitted. Something I did not consider. It would be easy enough to fit otherwise, but trying to get the top left yellow 'hook' over the wheel between the motor mover and the wheel arch was a bit of a challenge, but can be done. Other than that it was easy enough to fit. Took me maybe two minutes on my first attempt. I would not want to keep fitting it but then you don't really. When it is parked at home or in storage and then on site. So no big deal. But I repeat that you should NOT buy this if you think it will stop someone stealing your caravan. As others have said, simply pulling the caravan forward will snap the lower left leg off easily. So get a decent hitch lock at least to go with this, but as mentioned before, go for the ALCO alloy wheel lock if you can.

I have to say that this is a piece of rubbish. Apart from the fact that after a month's ownership, it starts to rust quite badly, it is also completely useless as a security device. This is the second one that I have bought and I won't be buying a third because I know that the same fate will befall it. Namely, my darling wife, who uses the horsebox, has now forgotten twice that the wheel clamp was attached and has hitched up and driven off with the clamp in place. Now one would expect that it would prevent her from driving away, but on both occasions all that has happened is that the clamp has shattered at its welds and she has driven on regardless. So if someone wants to nick your trailer, all they have to do is hitch up and drive away and this cr*p won't do a thing to stop them. Do what I have done and spend the £120 to get a Bulldog trailer hitch. Expensive but it works - I know this because we ha one which we used in addition to the clamp. However, my darling wife managed to lose both keys to it (!) so I had to try and remove it. Took me an hour with a mains angle grinder and 100 decibels of noise to do so. Have now just bought a new one, confident that I have properly tested that it works. (I have no financial interest in the company that owns Bulldog, but hate to see people wasting money as I have.)

Fits our twin axle Bailey caravan perfectly - an extra security measure to provide peace of mind and satisfy insurance requirement. Easy to install and feels sturdy.

If I could give it lower than 1 star I would. We tested it, checked the locking mechanism was working before attaching it to our traler. Then put it on the wheel, and the lock jamed, tried everything to get it off, but it refused to budge. In the end we had to drill it off. Avoid at all costs.
