The material is good and strong and protects the brushes. The slots take multiple smaller brushes as well as larger ones, so very efficient use of space. It's also long enough to take my longer brushes. Easy to use and does the job really well for a very good price. Author's Note: just bought a second one so I can categorise my brushes better. Just as good as the first!

I love everything about this Paint Brush Holder. I have used it to store my speciality brushes. The material is sturdy, flexible and light. Sturdy enough that it really does protect my brushes (a more flimsy material would squash the brush hairs) and flexible enough for me to shape it so that it can stand up on my painting table. The top half folds down, so that the brushes stand proud of the brush holder and this enables them to be removed from and inserted into the holder without damaging any of the bristles/hairs. It rolls up neatly and takes up less space than other 'book' brush holders do. I can carry it easily in one hand and it feels like brush protection in a roll.

Nice material, good size and useful for transporting, just too expensive for a bit of mass produced fabric.

Really good quality heavy duty canvas type material. Great for storing my watercolour brushes safely. Very good quality and price.

Good quality fabric and plenty of storage space. I was very pleased with this item. I don't know how I managed my painting brushes before I bought it, it's great.

Very good for short handled brushes. Too short for long handled brushes.

Just received my paintbrush holder and am very pleased. It's made of sturdy canvas material (not flimsy at all) and is well stitched. It easily holds brushes up to 12 inches long which is fine for me as I have mostly short handled watercolor brushes. It has two horizontal pockets with10 rows of vertical stitching to form 1 inch wide pockets for individual brushes. Short handled brushes go in front and longer brushes can go in the back row. There's also a pocket on the left side about 4 inches wide for holding wider brushes. I have about 15 brushes which it holds easily with plenty of room for more. When rolled and tied, it holds everything in place snugly. The bottom is sewn closed so the brushes can't slide out the bottom. I suppose they could fall out the top if you turned it upside down and shook it but I don't think that's a problem. I haven't actually traveled with it yet but I believe it will hold my brushes in place and keep them protected. The color is dark army green which is okay with me as it won't show dirt. This is exactly what I needed to store my brushes securely!
