Hi-Tec Men's V Lite Flash Force Low I Waterproof Trail Shoe

Excellent shoe. I don't understand why Hi-Tec would stop making this shoe. Now they don't have anything that compares to this shoe....and I am a fan of Hi-Tec because I also have a pair of Trail Ox Chukkas I wear in winter. I'm just really disappointed that the V Lite FF has been discontinued..When I find a shoe I like I stick with it....I started wearing the Merrell Moab Ventilator about 7 years ago and have purchased the same shoe 4 times because I liked it so much. I purchased the V Lites as a Disc Golf shoe and love it, I would have stuck with it for years to come had they not stopped making it. Hi-Tec's marketing dept. must be filled with short sighted nitwits.

Pretty good shoe for the money. Comfortable with replacement inner sole. Bought 1/2 size up but could have went full size larger. Exposed white sole lugs on inner arch are a bit odd looking. ( I colored mine in with indelible marker). Make feet look smaller than other footwear.

They were stiff at first under the laces (relaxed the laces first), then after a few hours of were they loosened up and fit and fell fine.A perfect fall hiking shoe as long as ankle support is not required. They are also be great from a warmth POV compared to regular sneakers.

I actually bought a 9.5 and wear a 9. I expected it to be a little large but it actually fit perfectly. Another reviewer noted the same thing. You may need to buy half a size larger. They are super comfortable though and I can wear these all l day without a problem.

The fit was just a little short in the length. Usually 9.5 fits me perfectly, but these Hi-Tec's were just a little small. I will keep them because they are not uncomfortable to wear. I like the style and the aggressive tread. The next pair I will order a half size larger.

I have a pair of ECCO shoes I've been wearing for a year. I cainted tell a difference in the comfort. Also, the ECCO shoes cost me 3 times more than the Columbia shoes.

I tried these on a our local sports authority and fell in love, but instantly dropped them back in there spot when i saw the price. I walked out upsent and without shoes. So of course i check amazon and the exact shoes are listed at 1/3 of the price. I had to buy. They are the same ones i saw in the store but with a more manageable price tag. yay.

Glad I ordered 1/2 size bigger. I like them so far. Will give them a good test this weekend we have Scout Camp out this weekend.
