The Class

Just finished the book. I am in awe. At loss of words.The guy is more more than a skilled story teller. He makes you feel it, which is a rare thing. Glad I picked this book up.

Classic good old novel. Worthy read - the stories of the friends and how their lives changed in and after college. Takes you back to college and live those days with the afterlife depictions.

It is a very revealing read about Harvard and the people of Harvard. Especially good for a Central East European, as the fifties were a very different story here. Great credit to the author that he knew so much about Hungary. Very accurate information as well. A clear and fine picture of the seventies and eighties.

I am reading all Segal books again,since i am stuck at home for a while. This is such a well written book,and so readable. A great distraction,which is really what books are all about. I recommend it highly.

It is the prequel for the Doctors from Segal but fascinating. Covers broad spectrum of developments and goings on in different circles of society.
