There are other tapes on the market similar to this tape, but this is the only tape of this width, and it does the job perfectly. Pull on it and stretch it a little when you are using it over joints, and let it have some stretching room and it will stay on a joint as it moves. It also stays where you put it, only comes off when you want it to come off, but comes off easily and completely.

Yes, this is meant for medical bandages. But as a handyman as well as a doctor I recognized that this tape is very good for a lot of things where you need a better grip. It is thicker than duct tape and is slightly spongy and fairly durable. For example portable vacuums made of plastic are often poorly balanced and it can be hard to keep a hold on the plastic grip for long. Wrap a layer of this on, and it is MUCH easier to grab. Some spray cans (cooking oil is a good example) are both heavier and very slippery. A layer of this tape gives you a sure grip on the can. As I said, it is fairly durable, but it will get dirty looking after a while. The adhesive is easy to pull off and replace, much easier than gorilla tape.

My favorite tape to use for lash extensions. I use it in place of gel eyepads and it does not move!! Also good for clients with teary eyes, taping the eyelid etc. Super comfortable for the client

Im giving it 4 store only because it did not work for my needs. I was hoping to use it for an under eye pad for eyelash extensions. too wide and too thick for that use. But it seems to be a great tape and i will use it in our medical office for something else

I bought this because I had a open wound in a place that normal bandaids just wouldn't stick. This stuff is waterproof has amazing hold and just all around good stuff. I have sensitive skin and typically get rashes easily. This did not give me a rash super quick but after using it got a week I did start to get irritated, no fault of the manufacturer. This will be my go to bandaid maker from now on.

After having major spine surgery i had one area that kept bleeding. My doctor changed the original dressing and used this 3M Microfoam Surgical tape. This tape will not come off until you want it to. It is a thick tape that stays where you place it for days on end. No worries of the tape coming loose or allowing any drainage to seep through. This is a true miracle surgical tape in that it does what it's supposed to do, stick. I highly recommend this 3M Micrifoam for all major dressings where you want the dressing to stay put regardless how active you are. A must for every household.

I had kidney stones, and until I could have surgery I had a bag attached to my left kidney that required tape to hold the tube down, and keep it dry. The tape the hospital gave me ran out, so I went looking for some more, and found this tape. I call it squishy tape; it is soft, holds really well, and waterproof. What more can you ask for. I felt more comfortable, and safe with a padded tape, vs. regular tape for wound care.

While working in a hospital, I found other uses for this tape, which seems to hold up very well. I found uses for it at home as well. I’m using it to put a flat antenna And hold it up on the glass on a window and when moisture comes in, it doesn’t seem to affect it and it still holds up. I can peel it off and put it back in place and it still works. I used to use it to keep cabinets and other things closed around the hospital because it is strong, but I’m sure others could find other uses for that I have never thought of. Medical personnel over the shot I can’t remember everything I used it for because it’s been a while but it’s a nice thing to have in your toolbox. Keep it out of the heat..
